A few years before Tanner Hall's infamous crash at Chad's Gap, we attempted to clear the gap with very little success on multiple occasions. This skier loses his balance in the air, nearly flips upside down before a violent slam into the wall of snow-covered ice. Skier was ok but to this day has back problems.
