When Early Season Was Lit vol. 2

Technically this would be volume 1, I suppose. This is the first year (winter 12/13) we made the A-51 early season park, up top of Dercum Mtn. at Key. Man this was a good time...Shout out to everyone who brought the stoke in that park!

anybody remember when A51 early season park was at the Ranger lift up top? This was filmed during the opening lift rides of the day, so the party wasn't going yet on Mount MaryJane, but the vibe was crazy here.

NOODLE HEAD

Growing up skiing Mt Bachelor there was always a heavy park skiing scene of riders focused more on creativity and style. This has greatly impacted my outlook on skiing and the approach to having fun, on or off the camera on skis. After an extended hiatus, I am extremely excited to see Chirs back on skis and riding harder than ever.
It truly is just gettin good out there.

World record upright spin on skis (1800)

I’m not sure who this is as the caption is “5 Helis from some nut job in the 1980s”. If anyone else has ever done an 1800 without going off axis, let me know, otherwise I believe I have uncovered the upright spin world record. This was taken from Matt Chojnacki’s YouTube channel, and a fun fact about him is that he is currently the only person to ever land the quad quad on to snow (an aerial maneuver consisting of 4 flips and 4 twist).
