Nuance is a skiing video designed to explore and showcase the small, subtle aspects that exist in the sport of skiing. After facing a difficult period due to a badly broken leg a few winters ago, Peak Performance athlete Garrett Capel decided to look deeper into skiing and focus on the elements that truly make him passionate about being a skier.
Separated into two acts, nuance highlights these elements.
In Act 1, the film showcases the power of friendship in skiing—the feeling of having all your friends in one place, generating a collective energy; the satisfaction of a high-five; the funniest things anyone’s ever said; and the sunset at the end of the day, when everyone’s spirits are high, and you can’t stop smiling. These are the moments that matter and should never be forgotten.
In Act 2, the focus shifts to the design elements of our environment: the texture of the snow after a wind event, the way the sun reflects off the snow as you carve through it, the vast scale of the mountains you play in, and all the other details we often overlook.
Starring Leif Wilson, Adam Kuch, Mark Hendrickson and Garrett Capel. Cinematography by Lucas Reid

The third selfie short film takes us to the feeling you sometimes get at the end of the season. When it feels like there hasn't been enough riding, and the only way to make up for it, is to hunt down the last pieces of snow that's quickly melting away. This is again a solo production, where everything is done by me, alone in the mountains around my home, outside Tromsø.
The process of making a snow jacket.

I think this was my third day on skis last season. The first was flipping cones with @nickvanberkel then building this spot with @generational_birdwatcher and getting too scared to hit it. The next day or so I had serious fomo and had to hit this legendary spot, of course it was a battle for me (pretty sure Stephen got it first T) I headplanted several times and was ok - went to ski whistler the next day… but a month later I was in the ER after playing hockey with my dad. I couldn’t move my neck at all and it was horrible… injuries are weird. Anyway that’s enough story time. Go watch the new @chef_boyardee video!

But actually, this is the culmination of a two year project born out of my dream to make a ski movie as sustainably as I could. Big ups to everyone who helped out along the way!

I recently built a summer setup that is 8 feet tall and the speed from the msnow is too fast. I have almost no time on the rail to swap or set an edge to 2 out. Any ideas on how to have less speed for the rail without taking the whole thing apart?

Mountain in My Mind returns with their third annual ski film about mental health in the mountains, Mountain in My Mind 3! The crew, which features New Zealand Olympian Benni Harrington and more, added some new names this year including street skier Brennan McClean, halfpipe and slopestyle skier Connie Brogden, and former freestyle mogul skier Lexi Wright in addition to interviews from Teton County Search and Rescue, Mammoth Mountain Ski Patrollers, and more. The crew also expanded its production and editing team and added the esteemed editor and drone pilot, Ben Kaden.
The film gathers a variety of industry insiders’ takes on topics such as suicide, depression, anxiety, addiction, substance abuse, trauma, first responder trauma, survivors guilt, therapy, and much more. The film aims to provide viewers with advice for handling life’s toughest moments with a special lens of mountain and snowsports enthusiasts. The crew got together in the remote town of Cooke City, Montana and shared a cabin for 10 days. They used sleds to access some of the best terrain Montana has to offer and the film features pow skiing, backcountry jumps, backcountry freeride, halfpipe, street, and resort skiing at Grand Targhee and Mammoth.

Introducing "Lateral," a LINE Skis video project.
Last spring, we took our team to Woodward Eldora to test our newest offering, the Lateral. No, this isn't some early April Fools joke, we made a snowboard.
Why a snowboard, you ask? Because between skiing, skating, and snowboarding, our team has been showing us that as long as you’re out there for the fun of it, it doesn’t matter what you’re riding. The Lateral is more than just a board; it's a tribute to the sport that inspired us and a celebration of the creative crossover between skiing and snowboarding.
From backyard bullshit to hot laps at Woodward Eldora, watch our team get after it on the all-new LINE Lateral Snowboard.
Featuring: Jed Waters, LJ Strenio, Reagan Wallis, Will Wesson, Jackson Karsteter, Tucker Fitzsimons, Tom Wallisch, Val Festevan, Bennie Osnow, Konnor Ralph

Was lucky enough to spend some time last winter in Engelberg with my girlfriend. Haven't made a ski edit in too long so i figured id chop up some clips. just a good ol fashion ski edit, nothing fancy.
Cheers to the boys Johnny, Isaac, and Forrest for showing us around when we got there and introducing us to everybody we needed to know, and thanks to all the locdawgs who showed us around.

Getting older hits different. Injuries that used to heal in a few days now take weeks, and the stuff I used to pull off without thinking—skiing, cliff jumping, pushing limits—feels heavier on my body. I’ve realized I’m not as fast or flexible as I once was, and honestly, that’s been hard to accept. Life changes—career goals take over, buying a home, building a future, and making a living become the new frontier. But that doesn’t mean I’m ready to stop.
These videos are a reminder of who I am and what I love. I might be slowing down, but slowing down doesn’t mean stopping. Movement is everything—whether it's skiing down a mountain, chasing a dream, or just showing up for the life you want. We don’t have to be at 100% all the time, but we do need to keep going. The moment you stand still for too long, that’s when you lose yourself. Keep moving, no matter what—because that’s where life is.
