Better late then never, huh? This season we were committed to fulfill the name of this project and finally film couple episodes in Czech... However, in similar fashion to last year, this year's winter was quite terrible. So believe it or not, this episode is filmed in mid-February, yet it looks like end of May hah. Well, it is what it is. Also, that's why we named this episode this way. February and bros… get it? HAHA, GET IT??? I think we've achieved comedy over here. Alright…now enjoy some fun shredding! In this installment of Promised Land, the crew closes out our stay at Maximise getting down on the jump and custom rail set up. In true springtime fashion, temps were warm, slush was flying, and stoke was high. Maximise is truly the springtime park dream for east coast skiers, and we were lucky to shred the park in prime conditions!

Spring in the East: skiing and making maple syrup.
A friend was asked to dispose of this 10 foot rail at work and brought it to me. Placed it in the woods so I could jib while waiting for sap to boil off.
Inspired by the recent safety slide controversy, I went for right and left hand safety on the rail.
Boiled the sap almost to syrup, and I'll filter it then finish it at home where I can watch the temperature with a candy thermometer.
Last World Cup for the season! We had a super week here in Switzerland the weather perfect, slushy landings and crazy level of skiing! Next up Swedish Champs!
