The Common Thread: Episode 1 - The Hometown
The fall semester came to a close and the crew sent it home for winter break. Riis and Sawyer spent it in Jackson shredding their home turf in all time conditions, while the east coast boys head home for some ice skating. Earliest preseason skiing I have ever done. Left New Hampshire to pursue school and skiing in Colorado. First season ever living out here and can't wait for the season to pick up. Chop from ShredFest Denver and Arapahoe Basin opening day. So stoked and blessed to be living this life here.

Headed back to Mt.Southington a few weeks back to host the fifth annual Studio Clothing rail jam. All the homies came out and had a blast. Disaster 4's were popping and everyone threw down! If you can handle the snowboarding then get out. Check out the action and stay tuned for more content throughout the year!
Parker and I linked up a few times to film some early season skiing. We went to Arapahoe Basin and Keystone. We hiked a lot to stack footage, and then just this past weekend, A51 at Keystone opened allowing us to lap for the first time this season, which was a blast!!!

We are stoked to present PURSUIT to the people this Year as the 4th installment to the OS Movie Collection. This short film follows the OS crew as they pursue their dreams, in hopes it inspires others to join the movement and do chase their own pursuits in life.

BOURN - The idea of “home” resonates differently for everyone. For some, your hometown could be a place you’re trying to escape from, but for others it may have a magnetic pull that can’t be broken. In this two year film project, Micah Evangelista reflects on the places and moments that have helped shape his skiing and much of his youth. He now returns to some of his favorite spots around Mt. Baker with an eagerness and passion to ski them in ways he never has before.

Yes, I do like Tanner Hall's Bananas Rant!
Yup! This is the fastest graphic in the world. No, really.... it is! Everyone else tried making lighter touring skis from the inside out, instead of from the outside in, ahaa! That's why these skis are really, really fast on the outside, but deep down inside they charge harder than the rest of them. You'll have your head cocked back laughing as you pass the spandex skimo's on the way uphill... and down!
Of course this genius idea was conceived by none other than "Ahmet's Brother", the skier previously known as Giray Dadali. We decided to keep this collaboration extremely limited since we could only mine enough of the "skimo-graphic" material to print 350 pair on the new "Slacker" ski. In total we melted down over 1,000 pair of XC skis to build these. I then hand-signed and numbered each pair. Grab yours before these previously thought to be impossible enigmas wrapped inside a riddle sells out!

It’s been a busy season for us and we wanted to create an opportunity for some spring skiing in Utah before summer arrives. Luckily, Brighton Resort delivered great conditions. Maxed with good company and a few special angles, we made a long weekend work in our favor to snag a few shots with our crew & friends. Big thanks to the guys for makin the trip and spending some time.
Next up for the gang is summer at Mt Hood.
