The days of the classic Teletubby look of a bulky POV camera mounted to the helmet are numbered... instead Sage captures his early winter shredding the Alps during the jump-infused big mountain comp known as the Swatch Skier's Cup (Team Americas wins again!) with the low-pro Action Cam. An uber-wide 170 degree field of vision helps for up-close pans of tourists as they gape at the Matterhorn, the Carl Zeiss lens keep the view crisp even when Sage's Phish tour-length mane gets in the way, and the splash-proof body seems to have held up to its first product testing environment in the pow-choked woods around Little Cottonwood Canyon. Dash Longe and Corey Gavitt talk about Dash's early love of skiing while growing up in Lake Tahoe. Dash loved riding powder and freestyle skiing early on, but watching snowboard culture influenced him to combine the two and take it to the backcountry. Stay tuned for part 2 coming up next week....
This week's almost live joins Callum Pettit, Seth Morrison, Sammy Carlson and Kye Peterson at Last Frontier Heliskiing in Ripley Creek, British Columbia. Pettit takes a huge crash during one of his runs and is forced to take a break from skiing and pay a visit to the hospital. As Seth notes, "He sent it off a piece of ice and we didn't see him come out from it." With Sammy adding, "He came on the radio and you could just tell instantly something wasn't good."
Chris Benchetler, Dana Flahr, and Dash Longe heard it was dumping snow in Italy and took an overnight train from Croatia to La Thuile, Italy. La Thuile is a town located on the very north-west tip of the country, and the locals are super friendly and fun. A seemingly never-ending storm pattern, on-hill Italian dance parties, and the friendly locals made this trip a banger even with weather holding the helicopters down.

It's the last week in Petersburg, AK and the boys are chomping to ski because of stormy weather. Once it finally pops bluebird, snow conditions were variable but the boys decided to go up a mellow run. Low and behold, a "picture perfect" crevasse gap is spotted. The TGR production crew recently teamed up with athletes Sage Cattabriga-Alosa, Kevin Jones and Nick Martini in Colorado to test how well the 2011 Ford Explorer is suited for winter sports. In this episode, the crew uses the Explorer as their "Basecamp" for a night session of urban prowling.

This week's episode of Behind The Line joins Seth Morrison, Dana Flahr, Sage Cattabriga-Alosa & Ian McIntosh in Petersburg, Alaska last April as they wait out stormy weather. When the skies finally cleared the boys got after it, but quickly ran into some bad luck and a couple huge crashes. As Seth describes, "Something always happens on Easter. I've been in an avalanches and other people have gotten hurt or this that and the other. This Easter held up to be another one of those."
