Inspired by last year's batch of tilt shift edits, we thought we'd take a stab at our own and included it as One For The Road DVD/Blu-ray extra. Shot in Pemberton, British Columbia and Juneau, Alaska, our edit provides a unique perspective of our athlete's big mountain skiing. One for the Road is an HD ski film that follows some of the world's most progressive snow sports athletes as it documents their lives on the road and captures some of the most stunning riding to date. Road trips are an integral part of every adventurer's life and a conduit to define one's being. Journeys to new lands shed light on each skier's personal mission. Whether shredding with long time ski partners, or meeting a seasoned character in some far off country, wisdom is gained through these new experiences. Almost Live - Episode 12 - Stevens Pass

Athletes Dash Longe, Dylan Hood, Dana Flahr, Tanner Hall, and Sage Cattabriga-Alosa headed out with the TGR crew to Stevens Pass, WA for a two week park shoot. The park crew built some amazing features for the athletes, including a monster gap jump. After some salting, re-shaping and a little guinea pigging the gap was ready to be sessioned.

Episode 1 begins in our backyard at a secret location deep in the Jackson Hole backcountry. Join Todd Ligare, Ryland Bell, Erik Roner, Rachael Burks and Griffin Post as they lay down some huge lines on a perfect bluebird day. As Rachael Burks describes just before taking a nasty crash: "We started hiking early and now we are in beautiful, glorious Jackson backcountry and I'm getting ready to jump off a cliff."

TGR Directs 2011 Ford Explorer Webisode: Chairlift

The TGR production crew recently teamed up with athletes Sage Cattabriga-Alosa, Kevin Jones, and Nick Martini to test the 2011 Ford Explorer in Colorado and search out some November powder. The crew uses the Explorer as a “chairlift” to get up and down the mountains and explore some amazing Colorado terrain.

"Generations," a film on climate change coming fall 2009.

Within the span of a lifetime, one can observe the planet's changing climate. Mountain guides, skiers, snowboarders, farmers and climatologists across the world are all seeing change. Ski areas in the Northeast United States are feeling the effects of less snow. California farmlands are experiencing water shortages and the glaciers in Europe are receding at alarming rates. Skiing, which started as a mode of transportation, has become ingrained within mountain cultures everywhere.

Behind The Line - Episode 11 - Sage Cattabriga-Alosa Front Flip

Grand Targhee and TGR teamed up to build this unique jump in the Targhee backcountry. Sage Cattabriga-Alosa met up with the crew and started sending it immediatley with a massive laid-out front flip. Stoked from his success with the single rotation, Sage decides to try and double it up.

Here's the first of a three part series that goes behind the scenes of what went into making this past season's Stevens Pass 3D Experiment happen. Join Sammy Carlson, Byron Wells, John Spriggs and the TGR crew as they figure out how to put it all together. 20 Foot Rail - TGR 2011 Ford Explorer Web Series - Episode 2

The TGR production crew recently teamed up with athletes Kevin Jones and Nick Martini in Colorado to test how well the 2011 Ford Explorer is suited for winter sports. In this episode, the crew uses the Explorer as a "feature" by mounting a 20 foot rail on it for an urban jib session.

This week's Behind the Line focuses on Dylan Hood and his growth as a TGR athlete. Faced with challenges during a trip to Europe, the crew must get creative in spicing up otherwise unspectacular lines. Dylan's solution? To rip his line switch. As Steve Jones describes:

"Dylan kinda of shrugged and matter-of-factly was like, 'that's not a bad idea, maybe I'll try that.' I was filming from across the valley and the next thing I know he drops into that thing switch and ripped the heck out of it."

Mazama, Washington is a sleepy 200 person town at the end of the road and home to one of the finest heli ops in the world. North Cascade Heli Skiing is an insane place, they fly every day, snow or shine, and receive copious amounts of snow every year. Seth Morrison, Sage Cattabriga-Alosa, and Kye Petersen found tons of sweet terrain to ride and film in. The trees and pillows here are some of the best in the world and the boys took full advantage of the epic zones and got tons of pillow practice.

In March of 2012, Teton Gravity Research filmed a segment for The Dream Factory on the most challenging in-bounds run in the United States -- the infamous Corbet's Couloir at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. On a bluebird day, the TGR crew put together what may be the heaviest session to have ever gone down on this run riddled with history. John Spriggs kicks off the session with a giant back flip, Griffin Post sends the West Wall, 13-year-old Daniel Tisi airs it bigger than most grown men ever have, Matt Phillipi spins a giant 360, Max Hammer throws a huge switch 180 and local Jeff Ledger does his signature front flip.
