One of the best parts of skiing is being out on the mountain or in the streets with your friends. Aka anywhere with the right people. More often than not, you start passing a camera around while you have your fun. And so crews become a cornerstone of the media landscape too. This award goes to the crew that has had the most impressive 2020, judged by their output and how stoked their vibe got us. The Newschoolers Awards are presented by Toyota & Mountain Dew.

Banff Sunshine Village delivered once again, and our testers crushed it. We had a week with the best products, some amazing conditions, and access to a range of incredible terrain parks for testing. Alongside the staff of both Newschoolers and Powder, we had more than 20 local rippers involved in testing skis & outerwear from brands across the skiing spectrum. People have been going down the mountain the same way since the sport began. Then, one day, Hotdog Hans came along and moved the whole sport forward by going down the mountain backward. Free-skiing was born, and the rest is history. But these punks forgot who started it all. Hans is here to remind them!

After the World cup Big Air in China Henrik had one day to spare before flying to Atlanta for the next contest. What to do? Go skiing of course!
The stage was set and winners were crowned. The PBR Session went off at Sunshine Village, inviting riders from all over to throw down for 3 days on the custom course. Mixed weather couldn't keep these skiers down as they all brought their best to the unique event.
Shout out to all of those riders in attendance, and congrats to the winners!
