Put together this quick edit of the footage I shot of Evan Furbeyre & Noah Wallace while I was working at Windells Camp in 2012. The wind blew my mic cover away this session so excuse the windy audio.
I worked at Windells this summer as an intern filmer & editor. This is a collection of my favorite shots from the summer.
Noah Wallace came to California for a couple weeks in January to compete and film. I filmed him skiing around at Mt. High before the Gatorade Free Flow Tour the first weekend, then we filmed a couple days at Mammoth the next weekend. Unfortunately, our filming time was cut short by an injury (vimeo.com/35871189), but we still got enough for a small edit. A collection of my favorite shots from 2011. I'm a 19 year old filmmaker from Spokane, WA. I am currently a sophomore film production major at Loyola Marymount University in LA. 2011 was my first full year out of high school, and unfortunately I didn't get to shoot as much travel and lifestyle as I would have liked due to college. However, I did start the year filming urban in Spokane, WA with Poor Boyz Productions (specifically Matt Walker, Alexi Godbout, and director Cody Carter), which was awesome. Once the school year ended, I headed back to Spokane, where I shot a lot of skateboarding and biking. Then I went back down to LA to edit for PBP, where I also shot a short piece on pro skier and tattoo artist Leigh Powis. After that it was off to NY for a family vacation, which I filmed quite a bit of. Once I was back at school in the fall, I shot some skating for my production class, and also had my first chance to DP a short film, Suicide in C Sharp. To close out the year, I took a weekend trip to Colorado to film skiing with my Soul Crew buddies. Thanks to all the talent for helping me get the shots I needed. We weren't ready to quit skiing for the season at the beginning of May, so Soul Crew and friends went up to Mt. Spokane a few times throughout May and the beginning of June and brought some rails with us.

Just after graduating high school in June 2010, we took a trip to South America with our families.
We began in Quito, Ecuador, before heading over to the Galápagos Islands. On the Galápagos we went from island to island, seeing something new on each. From there we flew to Cusco. We drove from Cusco to the Sacred Valley and took a train to the bottom of the Inca trail to Machu Picchu. After spending a night at Machu Picchu, we made our way back to Cusco, where we stayed for a night before heading home the next day.
We would like to thank our guides for making it such a memorable trip, and we would like to thank our families for making the trip happen in the first place.
Due to weight restrictions on the trip, I was unable to bring a tripod. All footage is handheld.
