Fernie had 92 cms of -25 Degree snow on January 17th this year. It was madness
We got a freak 50cms in Fernie this week, OCTOBER FACE SHOTS!!
Kootenay Influence Season 2 has begun! Over the past 2 months Brian Goertzen, Kevin Kelvin Frank, Patrick Hughes, James Josh Mcskimming, Brody Mcskimming, Josh Lloyd, Hudson Malmas, and Myself (Dylan Siggers) have been hauling around snow like idiots trying to catch some hangtime. Thanks to Jimmy Donnelly's Banshee Bungee and the ever so wonderful ghostriders carving up some fake snow we kinda made it happen. Nick Nault made some nugs, seen here --> facebook.com/NickNaultPhoto and a tonn of other people helped pull the damn elastic-speed-machine back for us! (Aussy, Rebecca, Paul, Bryce, Nic, Auzzy Hunter, Rob, Sandy, Steve, Andrea, German Chick, Tim) Thank you so much, skiing on flat is a lot of work. WE HOPE YOU LIKE IT
This January I was lucky enough to have Matador Network (dot com) to invite me up to Revelstoke and fly around smashing pillows for 3 and a half days. All the while staying in the luxurious Gothics lodge, a chapter of the Canadian Mountain Holidays heli skiing operation. Definitely some of the most incredible terrain and snow I've gotten to slide down, ever. More pictures and words here matadornetwork.com/sports/heli-skiing-with-cmh-gothics-during-a-monster-bc-winter/ Shot on a GoPro1 and a bit of Gopro2 and a T2i. Got to go down to the south island of New Zealand this fall and ski at the world heli challenge. Self edited and shot by Leo Zuckerman and World Heli Challenge.
Nearly all of BC has been a wash for the second half of this season. Got a chance to get the hell outta dodge and find refuge in Revelstoke for a few days of sun and pow with the kids!
in the day and a half before my heel went soft on me I managed to get a few clips with the talented staff at Level 1. Heres the entirety of my shots before I became a mono skier forever!

Teamed up with Jonny Durst of Toy Soldier Productions this May to make a pretty special bike video with his next level FPV Quadcopter technology. Jonny being such an unreal pilot made it possible for him to get some pretty crazy perspectives of trail riding. If you like bikes, have a look! If you don't like bikes, you should maybe do some personal reflecting this summer and find yourself...

Local legends tell the myth of a long lost man, shoulders 6 feet wide, who lives among the wildlife deep in the mountains above Fernie, BC. As the story goes, a shot from his 8-foot musket brings blankets of powder to the valley. Locals know him only as “The Griz”. Dylan Siggers among the other townsfolk has made a life of this tradition, finding purpose in the abundance of snow brought by this mythical man.
Skiing at home on the resort is my all-time favorite thing to do. Here's to another season of powder-filled fun times with your friends and family.

Thanks to Fernie Alpine Resort for always supporting ideas like this one.
My favorite shots from 2019 set to a song I like. Thanks to everyone and anyone who joined me on a trip this winter, skied with me, shot an iphone clip, did something fun or even just liked an Instagram post. Skiing is a lot of things but ultimately it's a very rewarding fun thing to do. Thanks for watching, hope you like it!

Got to spend a heli-week with the steep shots and pillow drops crew at CMH Kootenay this January. Got lucky with a ton of snow and it was a crazy week of heli-lapping pillow lines. Thank you thank you thank you CMH Kootenay for having me out. I’m a real spoiled ass
2020 was going really well until we went and Cronenberg’d ourselves. Editing this season's full part was as motivating as it was depressing. But going into our first full winter during a global pandemic, I’m excited to release this short and hopefully give myself and everyone else a reminder of how much joy and happiness skiing can bring. Hope everyone enjoys my latest season cut, “Cronenberg Morty.”

Last winter I decided to spend my time between projects enjoying the season and let myself experience it as it came. With the help of a bunch of my friends I worked on a short analog film along the way. I tried to give myself no rules or expectations other than to point the camera at what we were doing and capture what felt, to me, as special moments in time. Whether that was skiing, snow skating, pow surfing, playing with our puppy or just hanging out with friends it was truly special taking time to just do something and get out of it, and feel Free, in your body.

Last year I wanted to take a year off from working on another movie, but also still wanted an art project to work on. So finally, I took this opportunity to spend the winter learning how to work with 16mm film. I didn't want to just bring along something to shoot B Roll here and there, but rather commit to shooting entirely on celluloid. We ended up shooting it roughy 80/20 16mm to Super8. It was an awesome experience shooting things and not being able to review them right away, and kinda helped me just enjoy the moments in real life and time, without analyzing everything as it happens through a screen. This video is really a personal video journal from last winter with my friends and family between doing LINE and Smith stuff, and I hope you like it!
Shoutout to Stellar Equipment for being so nice and always supporting my little video ideas.
