Thought I would make this video public. Its been sitting around and the footage hasnt gone anywhere so I thought I would share it.
Some shots we acquired while shooting handrails and jibs in Colorado. We didnt gather enough footage of a lot of the riders so I threw there footage into this little edit.
Check out http://www.dosmedia.net to preorder your copy of Collab.
I hope you like it and watch out for the soon to be released movie "Collab".
Comments appreciated
I know I just added a video of Ahmet and Hornbeck last night but I found an edit that I made back in 2007 that has more rail tricks done by them so I uploaded this and deleted the other. It includes some real tech rail tricks done by Carlson, Hornbeck, and Ahmet that even today would be sick. Its amazing how sick they were even back in 2007.
Forgot to throw this shot in the edit...but its one of the better shots i got of cam.
I spent a morning filming BMX riders Brent Cooper and Mike Murfitt throwing down at the Sandstone Skate Park in Longmont, Colorado.
It was raining out so I decided to go out with my friend and film some random stuff with my 550d and new sigma 28mm wide angle f 1.8 lens. We just played around with shots of him walking in and out of frame with a mix of long, medium, and closeup shots.
Hope you like it.

I recently saw some posts going around about mental health and skiing. Because of this, I wanted to share the ski segment from my award-winning documentary film that has been in 10 film festivals. For those of you that do not know, I have been filming skiing for many years. I was diagnosed as autistic at age 23 after struggling with severe depression, anxiety, and alcoholism for quite some time. I am going on 12 years sober, and I am very grateful for the decision I made for myself to get sober. I made it through some tough times with my severe depression and now live a fulfilling life with my girlfriend and a successful film career. I want to let you know that there is no need to feel ashamed of struggling with mental health, and whenever possible, please be open with others so that you do not internalize your struggles. The more we hide it, the harder it gets. If you need someone to talk to, please feel free to reach out. I am here for people that could use the support.
This segment shows me surrounded by my passion for filmmaking. I had people follow me around filming behind-the-scenes footage to capture me filming while combining the footage with my camera angles to the music. There were interviews with Lupe Hagearty, Parker Norvell, Cassidy "Queso" Dubois, and Jaron Stadler speaking about how filming skiing helps alleviate some of my autistic traits as well as my severe depression. During this segment, it also features the skiing of Taylor Seaton, John Spriggs, Keegan Kilbride, Trent Jones, Seamus Flanagan, and the people in the interviews. If it weren't for finding my passion in filmmaking I don't think I would be where I am today. A big thank you goes out to Woodward Copper, Shred Optics, and Tall T Productions for sponsoring my documentary.
Parker Norvell, Kellan Baker, and I linked up this Spring at Keystone and Breckenridge to film 2 days in Colorado's warm and slushy conditions.

Here are two of Krazy Karl's segments from D.O.S. Medias Collab in 2010 when he was relatively unknown and borrowing skis to help film for his banger park and urban/back country segments!!!
It was a great winter in sunny Colorado. I got to film with some great riders/friends throughout the 2013/2014 ski season. Filming ranged from the back country, terrain park, and the streets.
Heres a project Mike Hornbeck and I worked on many years ago when ESPN was wanting athlete profiles in the action sports industry.
Hope you enjoy!!!
Im looking forward to being back this winter filming skiing and winter timelapses.
Here is what I came up with this past winter down in Orlando.
Hope you like it
First month being back in Colorado. Here are some of the time-lapses I have acquired in Boulder, Golden, and Vail. Hope you like it.
This is some of the urban ski footage Ive gathered over the years. Ive done work for Inspired Media, Level 1 Productions, Jibberish Clothing, Stept Productions, Traveling Circus, D.O.S Media, and myself. Riders include Tanner Hall, Lupe Hagearty, Taylor Seaton, Will Wesson, Matt Heffernan, Will Berman, Nick Martini, Mike Hornbeck, Jon Brogan, Liam Downey, Corey Roberts, John Strenio, Chappy Geer, Cam McDermid, Weston Charlesworth, and Jaron Stadler.
Mike Hornbeck and Joe Mango skiing at Keystone in late January early February 6 years ago.
This December I filmed a variety of shots to capture my family's Christmas. I filmed a variety of Time-Lapses consisting of decorating the tree, putting up Christmas lights, shadows changing on the house and aspen trees, and opening gifts. I picked a Christmas song that was upbeat to make the video more fun in my eyes, and it compliments the Time-Lapses in the way that everything is fast paced. I hope you enjoy it and please let me know what you think as well as share it with your friends if you like it.
Jaron Stadler and I linked up this winter at Woodward Copper and A51 at Keystone to get some filming done. Here is some of the footage we came up with.
Over the last week or so I have been filming time lapses of ice cubes melting in different formations. Each time it took anywhere from 3 to 6 hours for the glasses of ice to melt completely.
While shooting this I faced some technical difficulties with camera equipment and my Canon T2i is now in the shop for the next 4 to 12 weeks unfortunately. That cut the shoot down some but I think its a blessing in disguise to make the edit shorter.
Hope you like it.

Tanner Hall, Lupe Hagearty, Taylor Seaton, and I filmed a lot together during last years early season skiing at Woodward at Copper. Here is a little remix of the edit I made last year just to a different song. Hope you like it.
Here is a compilation of "Back Country Skiing" that I have captured over the years. I have done work for Level 1 Productions, Inspired Media, LAFA, D.O.S Media, and myself. Shots include a variety of cliff drops, powder face shots, pillow lines, back country jumps, tree taps, and tricks. Athletes include Matt Luczkow, Tanner Rainville, Cam McDermid, Whit Boucher, Ben Moxham, John Spriggs, Tony Seibert, Ahmet Dadalli, Benjamin Moisen, Sam Hurst, Weston Charlesworth, Ras Jacob, and friends...
I filmed with Willis Brown on the new rail features at Keystone on December 15, 2011. Here is what we came up with after hiking and filming a few features for a couple of hours. Willis and I will be coming up with edits all season and we hope to hit up the back country as soon as it dumps.
Here is a compilation of time-lapses that I have filmed in Boulder this summer. I filmed the Flat Irons mountains, along Highway 36, Boulder Falls, Boulder Creek, as well as the moon and stars.
A Glidetrack Hybrid slider system was used for the waterfall shots to add some movement to the foreground.
Shot on a Canon Rebel T2i and Panasonic HVX200.
Heres a project I worked on several years back as a camera man for ESPNs Stomping Grounds Summit County...
This is my film reel consisting of footage from Summer 2012 up until June 2013. It consists of Time-Lapses, Urban Scenery, Landscape, and biking shots from this summer!!!
This was Tony Seibert's segment from my 2006 movie Beyond the Bunny Hill. I miss you soooooo much buddy, may you R.I.P.
