Jibmeisters Samuel Beauchesne and Vincent Prévost do what they do best as they scour every square meter of Owl's Head resort in Quebec for jibs. Watch out for the tennis court fence gap at the end that nailed this crew 3rd place at the iF3 VideoQuest Owl's Head 2015. Filmed and edited by Maxime Trudel.
Just another day of ollies, transfers, tailtaps and 180s at Quebec's Owl's Head resort? Balderdash! Whether they know it or not, filmer/editor Gabriel Carrier and skier David Pauzé are reluctant physicists on a mission to demonstrate Einstein's work on the space-time continuum and how objects in motion experience time at a slower rate than those at rest. Oh, it's all so confusing. What does it all mean? It means this crew skied their way to 2nd place at iF3 VideoQuest Owl's Head 2015.
Awesome filming skills and smooth, styley skiing were what the Skurfs (filmer/editor Anthony Rodier and skier William Pichette) used to bring home the grand prize at the 2015 Owl's Head video competition. But then we have to know... is a Skurf a skiing smurf? For the third consecutive year, Owl?s Head ski resort in Quebec is supporting ski video production on a local level. By putting together an edit of their season?s best shots, participants get the chance to win the grand prize and have their video presented at the 2015 iF3 Festival
Filmer / director Olivier Désy follows skier Dom Petit on his escapade to the streets skiing sketchy spots, getting in trouble with the authorities and taking big hits. This creative piece, with a surprise dumpster trick at the end, earned Union Productions third place in the iF3 VideoQuest Street 2015 with their video "Escapade".

Spectacular cinematography and high-level, creative skiing score second place for Unaffiliated Productions with an edit showing why you do not need a mountain to put together a solid ski video. Watch, as the crew present "Mountainless".

A mind-blowing edit filled with crazy set-ups and styley, top-notch skiing earned Alex Miglierina, JR Ceron and their team a roaring first place finish in the Street division of the iF3 VideoQuest contest. Hitting a big variety of urban spots in and around Montreal, this crew of local skiers met-up with French counterparts PVS Company to put together "A Little Piece of Montreal". Song used: CALM (feat JME) - TOMMY KRUISE
40 cm of fresh pow, perfect Japan trees and not a track in sight. It's the stuff that skier's dreams are made of which is the reason Simon Pouliot had SKIING JAPOW written in big bold letters at the top of his bucket list. The crew made it happen and came out with an awesome edit earning them 3rd place in the POV category. Watch out for the big mushroom hit to pow!
Champagne powder, night skiing, hot spring baths, Shibuya Crossing, karaoke - when Gabriella Edebo and her skier crew do Japan, they go for the full tamale - all the way down to the Japanese pop soundtrack.
Featuring hot laps with the boys, sweet street jibs, a bit of powder and kendama in the parking lot all set to a bangin' soundtrack, director Daisuke Kurata's edit has everything it takes to win first place in the Japan POV category.
What's up Newschoolers!
