Skiing around tahoe on presidents day weekend at 15 years old
Been a little bit since i did a sw dub 9 haha and this is what happened. season edit coming out soon.
This is a re-edit of the previous one. I cut it down by quite a bit. I don't have final cut or someone to edit for me so this was about the best I could do. I hope it flows better than my first one, and I hope you enjoy.
The $econd edit of 2011 displays cliff jumping, bridge jumping & ropeswinging in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. (Vimeo probably plays smoother.)
Featuring some big sessions on the Skullcandy stair set and the whale box with James 'Woodsy' Woods, JF Houle, Simon Dumont, Tom Wallisch, Gus Kenworthy, Colby James West and more!
A little edit I made with the shots I gathered throughout my 10/11 season... Hope you enjoy..!
"The Source" is an HD film by Log Mahal Productions portraying skiing talent as well as the lifestyle and incredible nature of the ski bum. It documents the Log Mahal Crew's move to Mount Baker, WA as well as skiing across the US during the great La Niña season we just experienced. Primary filming was done by Patrick Erwin and Cory Bixler. Primary editing was done by Amon Barker. The songs are Snow by The Beauvilles and Thieves in The Night by Hot Chip.
Zoo crew rolled over to Mt Hood to get some shots for 2 days. check it out on vimeo for better quality as well

Just a few shots from July 4th at ABasin to portray the vibe of the day, which was basically PACKED and CRAZY. Then some shots from prior weekend.
.part one of the seventh Adventures in Transitions brings Stefi and myself on a road trip through my home land of Idaho, then on up through Seattle, Vancouver and then finally into Whistler. hope you enjoy the copious amounts of skating, beautiful places, and fun all to the tune of coles banjo. part two will be the remainder of the summer which was spent between Whistler and Hood getting that sunny shred.
SOLITAIRE: A Backcountry Skiing, Snowboarding, and Telemark Film from Sweetgrass ProductionsIn the high desert of South America, winter takes hold, devouring bleached bones and abandoned shacks. Into these most inhospitable of lands, a handful of drifters emerge from the whiteout, ready to cast their lot on forsaken peaks both merciless and magnificent. Venturing beyond the frontiers of most mountain films, Solitaire is backcountry skiing forged in the tradition of Western cinema. Born in the spires of Argentina’s legendary Las Lenas, a lonely two-year journey begins through an abandoned world, wandering the length of a continent from Peru’s Cordillera Blanca to Chilean Patagonia.Lost in the winds of snowbound badlands and the blizzards of primordial forests; seen from a horse’s saddle and a paraglider’s wings; ridden on ski and board and telemark...Solitaire fuses western-inspired tales of backcountry gambles into landscapes never before visited on film.

November 2008 was a great month. Super low temps and a ton of precipitation made for light snow at low elevations.
We shot our first ever Nimbus movie at our two local resorts; Mt. Hood Ski Bowl and Mt. Hood Meadows in Oregon. We only skied and shot a few nights, passing the camera back and forth between Eric Pollard, Pep Fujas, Justin Wiegand and Ike Smith.
Had a great time slashing, buttering and hitting little lift line airs with enough light to see. Sammy Carlson, Dylan Hood, and Erin Valverde Pollard joined the session.

So much fun to shoot. We filmed this after a huge snow storm cleared out of Mammoth. We drove to Nevada and did some sled access at a United States Marine Corps Mountain Warefare Training Facility.
Pretty much full on military zone, we could hear gun fire going off in the background as we were skiing. Crazy snow-tanks and troops on skis.
Skiing was great. I'm going back for sure.
Another busy week of shredding down here in Bariloche, Argentina. Hot laps on Nubes, Peter Wentz picking off lines down Laguna, and a bunch of clear days that produced SGT's biggest backcountry mission to date in the Catedral backcountry. Big snow all week on the top of the mountain - check out sassglobaltravel.com/argentina for late August availability.

Nothing special, just threw together all of the shots i have accumulated over the years, ending in a torn ACL.
special shout out to mark smith for letting me steal all his shots and editing, and all my other friends for pointing their cameras at me.
Got some ice rink snow and took it to a fun little handrail! unfortunately we got kicked out (by the nicest 2 people ever) so we took our remaining snow to a school and hit a bike rack....enjoy!
Timberline Backcountry is a section from En Route Plan B. Sammy Carlson slays Hood in this section, and Eric Pollard and Andy Mahre have some good shots as well.

The SGT ski crew makes the move from the sticky Northern Hemi to the powder-laced slopes of Argentina. After three flights, multiple buses, time zone and season changes, the skiing makes it all worth it. Shot exclusively on Contour GPS cameras.
Dub Tuck to Lay, and Dub lay. April 24th, built and hit the jump in a day. Went about 80 feet all day. And props to Cam Kaegi on being the guinea and sending a flat 7 100 feet that day.
We left from montreal to go to oregon. On our way there we pretend to be lost looking for Cape Cod
Planet Nimbus is a section from our third webisode.
We camped out on Mt. Hood at 9,000 feet and built a quarterpipe. Super fun session with Garrett Russell, Pep Fujas, Chris Benchetler and Eric Pollard.
Really good times.
Same day same jump as Myll lucas' dub backs. He landed with about 10 feet left in the tranny
A self edit of my 2010-2011 ski season. Shot mainly in Michigan and Colorado. See more in Mitten Media's "One Glove" film dropping this fall.
Big thanks to K2 Skis, Smith, Dakine and First Drop.
