Utah finally has POW again!!!
WARNING: Stoke level is HIGH in this video.
Thank you Cat and Callie for filming!
Im 30 now so, so posting throw-backs saying "the glory days" is completely acceptable, as a disclaimer.*
This is a video with most of my ski footage from 2010-2021. Most of it came from 2010-2013 - because as mentioned above: "glory days".
I feel really lucky to be able to ski with such talented skiers - both growing up and now. It wasn't only skiing that was meaningful though, it was filming it with friends. We filmed so much, especially through the university years, and got to help/learn from incredible crews like Sherpas, PBP, Nipwitz and 4bi9.
I rarely had the best tricks, but luckily had committed and skilled filmers (and photographers) around to make things look alright! From our first "crew" Crabjam, to 403Media, the Fresh days and living in Whistler (now in MTL), skiing and filming has always brought me the closest friends and best memories.
I hope the next 30 years are filled with more of all this, and hope you enjoy this too-long video of some skiing!
Follow along with Benny Smith and the Strictly Create crew as they give you a behind the scenes look at their season.
We might not have any snow, but we got everything else.

I’ve felt conflicted about backcountry riding since experiencing my first avalanche last season. This winter I decided to do something about it, so I signed up for an avalanche 2 course, almost 8 years since completing my Avy 1.
As a skier working on filming the last 9 years I’ve all too often put my safety and decisions into the hands of guides, experienced athletes—anyone but me. My goals in the mountains have gone from cover as much ground as possible in search of the next big air to now moving mostly by foot, finding stuff that gets me excited and enjoying what comes with that. I am grateful for the (ignorant?) safe passage over the years and the opportunity to continue exploring all aspects of skiing, it’s not called freestyle snowboarding ;). #FTPWR

A little bit of pow but mostly wind crust and iron dust.
GoPro died from the cold half way down.
This video is a bit different for me. This edit consists of tail guiding a couple clients up Mount Superior, Utah. I recorded most the climb and all of the skiing. I thought it was fun to edit together the most fun parts of the day including some of my favorite sound bites. I did it chronologically. It's a nice way for me to relive the day.
Mount Superior is such an amazing climb and ski, full of timeless views of the beautiful Wasatch. The weather was perfect! The snow wasn't bad considering how long Utah had gone without snow. It was like skiing spring corn snow...but in January.

Balcony Boyz presents our first ski movie "BADMINTON" Hope you all enjoyy!!
Last season, we set out to produce a short backcountry/big mountain ski film in McCall, Idaho. February of 2021 was all around unreal. We had everyone skiing and killer snow all month long. Nobody could come up with a name, so here's "February"
It can be hard to take the time and really film some skiing. It is a lot easier to get shots from your phone! Most of the skiing is at Alta or close by. I was also able to take a trip out to Europe and hit up some of the resorts there! I hope you guys enjoy these somewhat random clips of me over the past couple years!
Here’s @paulfotter showing us sometimes you just need to make the best of a overcast day. #Paradiseskis @paradiseskis
From the frozen tundra of the Midwest, through the snow-covered trees of Utah; this one certainly has it all. All homies, big vibes and a variety of tunes. Enjoy.

Fluid - Nothing is more familiar to us than Water.
We need it every day. It keeps us alive & connects us. It is the
basis for plants, animals, humans and for our sport. It gives us what we
love & live: the snow, the fluffy powder, the slushy slush or the
hardpack. And yet water is just as mysterious to us.We often use the
fluid without even a second to think about it how vital and special it
is. Of course water is a matter to us. But the problems surrounding
water are increasing more and more microplastic, high nitrate levels,
prolonged droughts.
Fluid takes the audience on a visual journey through the cycle of water –
condensation, precipitation, sun and melting - and its phases
integrating different styles and passions of our winter sport.Fluid
wants to raise awareness and celebrate the benefits of this basic little
molecule. It displays the beauty and the importance of water in our
marvelous mountains.
Let´s celebrate the water & its huge energy!

Clips from the first half of this season, I bought a new jacket to replace the orange one and figured I'd make an edit of my clips in it! Nick and Anna with the cameos along with Milo the dog.
Shoutout to the people who filmed: Anna, Danny, Bobby and Nick
Fellow snow riders in the West know how AMAZING December was for us. I had some pretty great powder days here in Utah. Since then we've had quite the dry spell so here's a powder skiing edit to hold you over until the next snowfall. Here's to more snow soon! The West needs it. May Ullr bless these mountains with his steps.

Got to film some of my friends skiing last season. Here’s some of my favorite clips. Looking forward to shooting about 10x more this season. I’m so grateful for skiing and for all of people that it has brought into my life. A huge shoutout to the people who made last season happen. Stoked to see what happens this year
Winter Storm Izzy came through and dumped an abundance of snow for parts of Pennsylvania! Luckily, I was able to get many days of skiing in before the storm ...
Its been a slow start to the 21/22 ski season. It is great to be back and the kids are starting the season off strong. In this episode Dad makes the annual pilgrimage to the Jark to hike some tubes and makes a trip to Blue Mountain, PA to take some laps with good friend Jon Matalavage. Then the kids tackle the discovery area at Roundtop Mountain Resort for their first day on hill. Enjoy!
