The granite slabs and juniper trees of Donner Summit compose a playground that has captivated my attention for years. Colby Elliot and I spent three and a half days last spring translating these ideas into reality and taking advantage of what was in front of us. Thanks to everyone who was a part of this! New to the LINE Skis team last season, Garrett was incredibly quick to impress our internal crew, along with fellow team members, with his effortless pillow popping style and huge bag of tricks. From charging down the steepest faces to bouncing from pillow to pillow and boosting hand drag 3's and cork 7's off of huge cliffs, Garrett had one heck of a 2021 season, even with some injury setbacks, but ya wouldn't even be able to tell that there were setbacks from watching this video, now would ya?

I was able to get out on January 2nd and what a day for the weather to clear and get in some powder runs. A GREAT way to start the new year.

In 2021, sadly, the ski lifts never opened in the Dolomites, Italy. But when Arianna Tricomi called and invited us to her home mountains, we were quick to pack our bags.. This was a once in a life time experience, meaning skiing closed resorts (on foot of course) and having our own private playground. Loveland pass Colorado…. Once again… we need snow or I need to start chasing west
I'm making a full edit from some recent powder days here in Utah but I just had to do a quick upload from yesterday's AMAZING snow conditions. It was bottomless, it was fast, it was just plain fun. After the skunking last year, a slow November this year, I was worried. But then I had this blessed day.

Stoked to put together another little edit, filmed last winter in switzerland. Nakaya is the name of a Japanese snow researcher. He invented the Nakaya snow diagram, which shows the formation of any form of a snow-crystal dependent to the given saturation of water in air and the air temperature. I see it as an irony: doesn’t matter if you are an avalanche nerd or a skier who likes slush the most. In the end, the difference on what we prefer, lies just in the form of a snow-crystal and how it was formed.
