Since the first recorded recreational telemark turns in the mid-1800’s, the technology – and the riders – have seen incredible advancements. Despite these advancements, the perception of telemark remains aged – floppy bindings, granola diets, unkept beards, smells of patchouli. Now, the new generation of telemark skiers are here to challenge the status quo. From downtown urban rail missions to backcountry booters… “This is TELEMARK”.
Featuring: Ty Dayberry, Greg Yearsley, Elijah Vargas, Nina Asher, Sal Malone, Gunnar Stoltenow, Taylor Hennum, Wyatt Daigle, Brickley Biondi, Christopher Ewart, Fynn Osmundson, Eliza Biondi, Sylvia Kinosian, Sofia Whitefields, and Nic Hoffman.

I was able to get out on January 2nd and what a day for the weather to clear and get in some powder runs. A GREAT way to start the new year.

Yew! Ski season is almost in full swing here in PA, at least I hope. I had a slew of computer issues, lost projects, footage, corrupted files, etc. I gave up for awhile in making the the last episode for the 21/22 season. With the mountains making snow and starting to open, fueled my ambition to remake the episode. Enjoy!

It's been 2 years that I haven't post anything on Newschoolers, so here it is.
Game Time, a short movie made by Nicolas Ployon and my home resort Val d'Isere. We had only one week to shoot it so we had to do it quickly (1 afternoon of park shooting). Sorry guys, no huge tricks on this one, all our efforts involved were on style and shovel the street and backcountry spots haha.
Hope y'all like it ;)

Been wanting this for years, finally put er down this winter on a backcountry booter we built. Thanks to the homies for digging, hyping me up, and filming (plus the random hype dog)

Well that was fun! This was my first time out to this zone and I enjoyed skiing it with a solid crew!
There are not many runs that make my legs burn 2/3s of the way down, but this was one of them. The temps ranged from -15 F to a high of 5 F and I don’t think my muscles ever warmed up. The snow was perfect cold smoke and felt like skiing on a cloud!

All my favourite moments from the past season in Tahoe compiled into one rad video. Thanks to everyone who helped keep the stoke high, freeride is not dead!
It was obviously a weird winter 19/20 where I mostly just worked until mid February instructing. I had about three weeks skiing before Covid shut everything, but they were a good few weeks at least.
This weeks Segment Saturday takes you into the minds of Richard Permin, Markus Eder, and Cody Townsend. Together, these three legends pick apart their lines and show what really goes into skiing a huge Alaskan face. It's not as easy as these guys make it look.
