A day with Mr. Goralka finding trannys and smashing bumps Filmed By Sam Blakeslee Song: Deep Days, James Hall
After an incredible season with plenty of time up in Canada, fun times around Big Sky, breaking a few pairs of boots, and hitting almost all of my lines in Walk Mode, here is what you've been waiting for. Thank you to all of my friends, family, and sponsors for making it all happen and always being incredibly supportive, I hope you enjoy.

3 years of human powered turn earning, jump building, chute skiing into a 2 minute edit.
Liberty Skis athletes Loki Wickman-Ratthe and Nigel Ziegler welcomed Anatole Tuzlak, Brendan Mackay, Ryan Statham, and Cam Keith to their hometown of Nelson, British Columbia. Known for the deep interior snowpack, pillows, and quiet atmosphere, the team spent the next four days exploring Whitewater Ski Resort. Check out the best of the Whitewater’s secret spots – charging pillows, stomping cliffs, and sending jumps.
"My home mountain, Pebble Creek Ski Area, had a miracle March this year. Although I was gone for the majority of it I was able to catch two days of leftovers." - Sander Hadley

Last season was a bit of an anomaly. Covid restrictions somehow corralled a lot of skiers up canyon, likely due to most other activities being shut down. Add to that our less than ideal ski schedule and we ended up with a very low attendance season. This shows in the season edit compared to previous years. We didn’t get a lot of bluebird pow shots and overall lacked great footage.
Nonetheless it was a great season and Alta was our escape from the madness. Despite logging under 30 days on the lifts. Hopefully ya’ll still enjoy the edit!
Springtime, a forced transition between ski season and summer adventures. Passed the cloud of boredom that reign during the season, hides a world of possibilities for those willing to search for it. The days become longer, slopes transform and great adventures are blooming. Follow the journey of a group of skiers throughout these changing passages of Québec’s spring.

Skiing in the spring is the best! Big storms, sunny weather and long days. Join me for some pole flips, regular flips, and spring lines! Thanks to everyone who filmed, especially Ian Zinner.
Thanks to my sponsors for helping me keep sliding downhill: Faction Skis, Giro, Trew Gear, and Swany Gloves.

Attempt at the west couloir of graywolf peak in the mission mountains. Huge day trying to conquer this beast while battling fussy weather. The skies finally cleared revealing that the main chute was too runnelled out to ski from the top, so we skied a spicy pincher chute looker's right. It was 3 inches on top of pretty firm snow, which made for one of the most intense lines I have ever skied. Spring skiing in full effect!!!
Etienne Arent tore it up all season on Meier's sticks. Check out the gnarliest lines he got on film!
What a year... weirdest winter I can remember. Cut Short is a montage of some of the best days and sessions from the 2020 season. There were lots of good days filled with awesome skiing and friends. Here is just a bit of it that I was able to get on camera.

In early February 2020, covid cases were starting to show up on cruise ships, Japan was having one of their worst snow years on record and the TC crew had already booked a trip into the heart of it all. Luckily, the pandemic held off just long enough for them to film an episode, capture a bunch of ridiculous phone videos and return back home safely.
Kye Petersen and crew are back at it again in The Sacred Grounds!
Part 3 of the series takes us on an annual journey east from the coast mountains into the Selkirk mountains of interior BC. Here we visit one of the interior’s top pillow skiing destinations and explore new corners of a zone we’ve revisited for over a decade. Here we set up a basecamp in the serenity of the subalpine bowls and live amongst a deep storm to be close and ready to jump on the stacked pillows only minutes from camp.
We then change scenery by jumping on the opportunity to ski at the famous Mica heli ski lodge to the northern end of the Selkirk range. With more big storms pounding down and an all star cast, the crew sets up at the beautiful backcountry lodge with eyes set of the most classic lines that Mica is known for, most of which haven’t been repeated for over a decade. Thankfully despite the snow falling nearly non stop, the crew manages to ride all of which they set their goals towards, in some of the deepest snow possible. This ended up being the trip of a lifetime and a session that surely will go down in the history books.
Part 3 ‘Migration’ of the Sacred Grounds film series is quite possibly the heaviest riding we’ve seen yet in this series, wildest cinematography and the most uniquely featured terrain stacked with pillows, spines, and overhead blower powder. Get ready, sit back and enjoy the ride into more Sacred Grounds.
