Huge thanks to O'Neill, Jake and I wanted to go somewhere new and ski some powder and explore, something as I've gotten older I've realized I haven't done enough of. They agreed to back this trip and send along Vince Prevost to come shred with us. The whole world shut down halfway through our trip and Vince almost didn't get home but we still scored and had a blast while it lasted.
Nestled in the Pacific Northwest is a place of legend, Mount Baker. A quiet but proven place where skiers and snowboarders come for the endless potential of the terrain. Seeking a new playground, LJ Strenio and Vincent Prévost rendez-vous at Mount Baker. And it proved to be exactly that, an endless landscape of rolling, powder-caked mountains. It’s no wonder why people have been coming here for decades to play on the slopes of the northern Cascade Mountains.
T'CHO!

Part 1 of our 3 part web series Room For Improvement. After the new year Tahoe faced down one of the most impressive Januarys on record with numerous atmospheric rivers dumping millions of gallons of rain and almost 300 inches of snow on the peaks around Squaw Valley and Tahoe City. In between storms the Janky crew enjoyed some of the best conditions the area has seen in 6 years, capitalizing on amazing storm skiing and a few cold sunny days. Featuring Anthony Santos, Eli Sobel, Pete Kukesh, Jed Kravitz, Andrew Putnam, Hazen Woolson, Aaron Bushey, and Henry Holdsworth. Big thanks to Niel Kasper, Aaron Bushey and friends for helping with filming!

2ft of pow to 50 degrees and sunny.. š§ some odds and ends from a fun trip!
A few winters back my dad and I were showing off our dance moves at the Cowboy bar in Jackson, WY. Our footwork got fancy as they started throwing inverted dance moves. Within moments the bouncer promptly kicked them out saying “No boots over the brim!” A film concept was born that day. Boots Over Brim follows me, Amie, a professional skier and classically trained dancer, as I dip in and out of a dreamy western dance scene and ski lines in Wyoming, Nevada, and Alaska.
Breaking all the rules of a classic ski film, Boots Over Brim pairs two of my great loves with a soundtrack exclusively set to the electrifying country music of Paul Cauthen.
Skiing is an art. Full of connection, grace, touch and style. To me, skiing is a dance.

Many thanks to Liberty Skis and everyone that helped to create such an awesome winter!
I didn't set out with a grand plan to create this video. I simply hoped I could stack enough footage to make something at the end of the season. This is the footage I managed to collect between working a couple jobs throughout the winter of 2016. Nobody was paid or is making money from this video. All stunts and video work were done PRO-BONO!

Thought I'd share this one on here because of the whole TEN connection. This is a trip we took out to AK this past March. We got shut down pretty often but the rad part was meeting all the loc-dogs.
Hope you enjoy!

A compilation of every crash I have ever filmed, including GoPro and other shots. Crashes include everything from, skiing, biking and sailing. Compiled from all…
Brought my GoPro 2 with me on my first trip out west. Didn't get the best shots due to the weather and my camera, but had a ton of fun out in Whitefish.

I took a trip up to the Shasta Area on May 3rd and 4th. I started hiking around 3am and made my way to the summit 10 hours later. A 7,000 vertical foot descent was my prize. The snow was sublime and the skiing was pristine the entire way back to the Bunny Flat trail head. A worthwhile first experience at Shasta.
As mid season approached, we began to explore new areas around Revelstoke and had the opportunity to stay 4 days up at the Amiskwi Lodge. Part 2 of our series includes: cute puppies (Ellie and Benji), deep powder, and magnificent landscapes. Skiing by Adam McCraw, Carter McMillan, Mark Dalgliesh, and Blake-John Travers.

Alex Nolan's 2016-2017 season edit. It turned out to be one of the best winters yet due to all the opportunities presented and the friends I linked up with. "Gliding below the clouds, back towards the valley's edge; the human foot print on the mountain quickly grows. Humans and human creations cover the mountain side, like a giant white ants nest, bustling with activity. Chair lifts and lift lines, ski runs and lodges, thousands of people all in the same place doing the same thing. But do they know what lays beyond?" (...)
Imaginary Revelstoke's mountain raven will lead you from a ski resort to the backcountry. He follows the journey of several Czech and Canadian skiers who fled the resorts and decided to experience true free will moments in the mountains of British Columbia. They found deep snow, new friends and foremost different, more fulfilling type of skiing.
