After School Sesh
Ever since I started practicing Xtreme sports I was attracted by the underground and rebel side of Hip Hop music. This gender was indeniably part of a sport that followed its footsteps as a community.
After years of creating videos with songs from various artists around the globe I finally reached out to one of my favorite artist Awon who agreed to create a song for my next movie #KEEPITREALtheproject. I sent him a full page of ideas on what I wanted to say, what the beat should sound like, how we could handle the shooting, add Nique to the casting, etc…
Couple months later Linkrust came out with a beat that fitted perfectly what I was seeking : a track that would mix up the lyricism of old school Hip Hop and the party vibe of new-school Trap. Something that would correlate with old school ski bums and new-school « Bunch style » skiers.

Season edit part 2 shows off all of the new tricks I learned this season. Second half of the edit was my favorite to make. Many of these were learned straight to snow, which feels amazing. Thanks again to everyone who filmed and rode! Couldn't have done this without the ski community that surrounds me in Utah.

Dane Tudor and Simon Hillis take an introspective look at one’s attraction to the mountains, different types of snow conditions and terrain as they explore the mountains of British Columbia.
The Mountains Are Calling explores the breathtaking valleys and peaks of the Central Kootenay’s in Beautiful British Columbia. Professional skier Dane Tudor and the young up and coming talent Simon Hillis take a six-week journey in Dane’s custom expedition trailer. Dane and Simon bring together their versatile skiing abilities riding untouched powder at the local secret spots while taking an introspective look at one’s attraction to the mountains, different types of snow conditions and terrain. The film was designed and created by Dane who has always had a desire to create a film based on his passion for the mountains.

Over the past year I have made the switch out of my 13 year racing career and spent my first season dedicated to freesking. I entered a few competitions, came out with some encouraging results, and had a rad season along the way. So heres some clips I've gathered from the past few seasons to commemorate freedom!

Watching old clips is somehow a big motivation booster. Every time I see them the related memories come up. This always gets me stoked and fired to go for more of those moments. Putting clips together reinforces this process. That's why i made this Season-Edit. I was able to push some projects and also add some 3rd person footage to the gopro clips (thanks to all my friends who filmed). Ranging from Big Mountain to Powder and some Backcountry sessions. Stoked with the outcome, even if there's space for more. Let me know if you've got any inputs. On to another one.

The Common Thread: Ep 3 // B.C. -> MT
In the midst of a tough semester at MSU, spring break showed promise of deep snow in the Great White North so we packed up and send it to Nelson B.C., when we arrived we were met with a week of rain, snow, friends and 18+ bars. Back in Montana it was a wild spring with everything from deep snow to warm spring days. We were able to get the camera out for a few days and capture some of the debauchery and this is the result.
