I know what you’re thinking, season edit in February? Well, my season got cut short by an injury. These things happen, and I’m bummed I’m most likely going to miss the rest of the winter.
On the bright side, I can say I pushed myself and progressed this year more than I ever thought I could, or would. I quit competing years ago and have a desk job now, but something has been pushing me to stay motivated and sending as hard as I can. Stupid? Maybe. Any regrets? Hell no, it’s what I live for.
Here’s a compilation of my favorite gaperpro clips from this year. Lots of good times chasing pow and hucking my meat.

Fluid - Nothing is more familiar to us than Water.
We need it every day. It keeps us alive & connects us. It is the
basis for plants, animals, humans and for our sport. It gives us what we
love & live: the snow, the fluffy powder, the slushy slush or the
hardpack. And yet water is just as mysterious to us.We often use the
fluid without even a second to think about it how vital and special it
is. Of course water is a matter to us. But the problems surrounding
water are increasing more and more microplastic, high nitrate levels,
prolonged droughts.
Fluid takes the audience on a visual journey through the cycle of water –
condensation, precipitation, sun and melting - and its phases
integrating different styles and passions of our winter sport.Fluid
wants to raise awareness and celebrate the benefits of this basic little
molecule. It displays the beauty and the importance of water in our
marvelous mountains.
Let´s celebrate the water & its huge energy!

At the age of 2 my parents brought me to the slopes of Le Semnoz and learned me what would become later a reason to live. It was important for me to produce a piece in this resort where lots of kids from Annecy and its surroundings come enjoy skiing at its finest.
We had best of times building stuffs we dreamed about once we were kids, driving home from the resort every day and sharing this passion with so many friends. After suffering a dislocated hip in late December and being forced to sit out for all of January and February doing rehab, I wasn’t sure how much filming I would be able to do. Then, right as I was back skiing again in early March, all the lifts closed due to covid-19.. All I could do was grab the daymakers and start ski touring everyday. Hiked and skied more than 130,000 vertical ft. and it ended up being one of the most memorable winters of my life. Stoked on what I came up with and had a hell of a spring! Thanks to Fatypus, Uinta Brewing, Giro and Daymaker Touring for the love!

Zermatt is a magical place, especially when Sam Anthamatten is your guide. Last spring, Sam welcomed Johnny Collinson to his glacial backyard of 4,000m peaks and together both riders ticked off Sam’s favourites lines, straight-lining steeps, weaving around crevasses and boosting ice takeoffs.
