Pillow Talk with the Hoji
Nothing can get in the way of Hoji and a crispy cold beer waiting at the bottom of a run. Especially not a ton of powder and a never ending line of pillow poppers in Interior British Columbia. Buckle up!!

EQUINOX - Super excited to share the trailer for a project I’ve wanted to do for a while now.
This is my life. I wanted to showcase what I do in the summer that lets me be on snow everyday all winter. I’ve spent the last 8 summers fighting fire on a hotshot crew and living the dream skiing everyday in the winter. It’s been rewarding; at times taxing. It’s made me question the choices in my life that led me to some god forsaken hill that’s on fire but I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
It lets me, be me.
I want to give a huge shout out to all the homies who help film and shred in the winter, to the boys in the summer, my sponsors who help me out in the winter, @samarmanino for absolutely crushing it with editing and putting it all together
Hopefully someone sees this and wants to become a hotshot. It’s seriously pretty fucking cool.

"I hit so many rocks and trees while early season riding last winter I decided to make an edit. Turn that sound up for the wonderful noise of skis hitting "natural obstacles"! 😂 And don't worry, no Sego skis were broken in the making of this video✌️" What Rocks? Looks like the whole mountain's a playground.

BOURN - The idea of “home” resonates differently for everyone. For some, your hometown could be a place you’re trying to escape from, but for others it may have a magnetic pull that can’t be broken. In this two year film project, Micah Evangelista reflects on the places and moments that have helped shape his skiing and much of his youth. He now returns to some of his favorite spots around Mt. Baker with an eagerness and passion to ski them in ways he never has before.

Yup! This is the fastest graphic in the world. No, really.... it is! Everyone else tried making lighter touring skis from the inside out, instead of from the outside in, ahaa! That's why these skis are really, really fast on the outside, but deep down inside they charge harder than the rest of them. You'll have your head cocked back laughing as you pass the spandex skimo's on the way uphill... and down!
Of course this genius idea was conceived by none other than "Ahmet's Brother", the skier previously known as Giray Dadali. We decided to keep this collaboration extremely limited since we could only mine enough of the "skimo-graphic" material to print 350 pair on the new "Slacker" ski. In total we melted down over 1,000 pair of XC skis to build these. I then hand-signed and numbered each pair. Grab yours before these previously thought to be impossible enigmas wrapped inside a riddle sells out!

Is there such a thing as too deep? The record-breaking storm Stella of 2017 brought incredible amounts of snow to the forests of Jay Peak, VT. The Ski The East crew ventured out into chest deep snow during a truly memorable and exhausting day of blind turns, choking snow and sometimes simply being stuck. Basically, it was the best day ever.

If you just so happened to stumble upon this video make sure you watch to the end. Its what youre gonna want.
I know what you’re thinking, season edit in February? Well, my season got cut short by an injury. These things happen, and I’m bummed I’m most likely going to miss the rest of the winter.
On the bright side, I can say I pushed myself and progressed this year more than I ever thought I could, or would. I quit competing years ago and have a desk job now, but something has been pushing me to stay motivated and sending as hard as I can. Stupid? Maybe. Any regrets? Hell no, it’s what I live for.
Here’s a compilation of my favorite gaperpro clips from this year. Lots of good times chasing pow and hucking my meat.
Stay sendy my friends, and enjoy every day you ski or board like it’s your last.
The corny rant is over, peace!
It’s been another incredible season on skis and I’ve got another installation of snow stunts for you all! This seasons been an awesome ride as Montana had received the most snowfall I’ve been present for, went back to Washington and got extremely lucky with snow, and finally made it to hood this year for spring pass and it was truly all I’ve ever dreamed of. Huge shoutout to all of the amazing homies that I got to ski with this year, the ones who filmed a few clips, and those of you watching this, I love you all :)
