By the time a lifelong skier reaches middle age, he or she has likely dabbled in or fully dedicated
him or herself to a myriad of facets within the sport. Each facet provides an entirely new set of
experiences, thrills, challenges and rewards.
Matchstick Productions 2022 ski film explores this world of opportunities through the eyes of a
12 year-old freestyle phenomenon. Through his voice, the audience hears the skiing aspirations
of such a 12 year-old, a kid who just wants to play and doesn’t have to ponder “real life” quite
yet.
The core of this film is packed with a star studded cast of skiers shredding across the globe.

New to the LINE Skis team last season, Garrett was incredibly quick to impress our internal crew, along with fellow team members, with his effortless pillow popping style and huge bag of tricks. From charging down the steepest faces to bouncing from pillow to pillow and boosting hand drag 3's and cork 7's off of huge cliffs, Garrett had one heck of a 2021 season, even with some injury setbacks, but ya wouldn't even be able to tell that there were setbacks from watching this video, now would ya?

Some of the best terrain on the planet can only be accessed by the quick, coordinated, and surgical flight pattern of a helicopter. In this short, Eric Pollard and and Karl Fostvedt pack their bags for the western shoreline of Kootenay Lake, just outside of Nelson, BC., for a heli trip for the books. When the bird lifts off the ground and the pilot’s voice comes through the headphones – only the powder slashes, butters, and cliff drops that dreams are made of lay ahead. Good thing these guys brought their snorkels – it was well overhead out there…

Hoshino Resorts Tomamu was the last stop of our one month trip to Japan that happened this past February, we were amazed on the infitine possibilites offered by the resort so I tried and show you as much as possible in the shortest time possible.

The road trip, a time-honoured tradition and rite of passage really… Letting routine fade away in the rear-view, they look forward, awaiting what the horizon holds. Worries left behind and uncertain of what lies ahead, they are left with the present moment. And with that, the stage is set. These 4 gents, embark on a uniquely coastal journey from the alpine peaks that guard the Duffy Lake Rd. to the rugged and unexplored coastlines of the northern reaches of Vancouver Island. Big mountains, deserted surf breaks, river navigation and picturesque coastal scenery highlight this adventure along the Road To Nowhere.

Not your average summer skiing edit. All of this was filmed between June 1st and September 1st.
This summer may have been the best summer of my life. I was fortunate enough to take two cross country road trips on top of a few long weekend adventures. I traveled to regions of the country that I never thought I would see and I slept in my car most of the way but it was worth it because I got to ski in tons of amazing places including three national parks during a span of four days. This summer has proven to me once again that skiing will take my life to heights I can't imagine.

After a few seasons of low snowfall it was great to have a good season at home again. I spent the beginning of the season around Revelstoke, before heading home to Pemberton. This segment was filmed in the Sea to Sky area.

Tons of ski lines in the backcountry off the tram, sketchy couloirs, blower powder and sending some huge frontflips with Julian Carr. I also made it out to backflip the Palisades at Squaw Valley along with a few other sick in bounds airs.
