Chris Benchetler, Dana Flahr, and Dash Longe heard it was dumping snow in Italy and took an overnight train from Croatia to La Thuile, Italy. La Thuile is a town located on the very north-west tip of the country, and the locals are super friendly and fun. A seemingly never-ending storm pattern, on-hill Italian dance parties, and the friendly locals made this trip a banger even with weather holding the helicopters down.
Dash Longe, Dylan Hood, and the TGR production crew headed to the mountains of Croatia to explore some new territory. They hit the storm cycle perfectly; Locals said this was the most snow they've seen in 50 years. Croatian culture, sneaky 100 meter sinkholes, and deep pow quickly helped to make a first visit to Croatia epic.
The TGR production crew recently teamed up with athletes Sage Cattabriga-Alosa, Kevin Jones, and Nick Martini to test the 2011 Ford Explorer in Colorado and search out some November powder. The crew uses the Explorer as a “chairlift†to get up and down the mountains and explore some amazing Colorado terrain.

Erik Roner has BASE jumped and ski-BASE jumped all over the world. In Behind The Line Season 4 Episode 8, Roner ski-BASE jumps in Macedonia - a place where no ski-BASE has ever before been recorded. It's the last week in Petersburg, AK and the boys are chomping to ski because of stormy weather. Once it finally pops bluebird, snow conditions were variable but the boys decided to go up a mellow run. Low and behold, a "picture perfect" crevasse gap is spotted. Everyone thinks Sage is joking, but, obviously, he wasn't. From down days to classic Alaska shredding, the boys spot the Briquette Spines next.

Within the span of a lifetime, one can observe the planet's changing climate. Mountain guides, skiers, snowboarders, farmers and climatologists across the world are all seeing change. Ski areas in the Northeast United States are feeling the effects of less snow. California farmlands are experiencing water shortages and the glaciers in Europe are receding at alarming rates. Skiing, which started as a mode of transportation, has become ingrained within mountain cultures everywhere.
