The Sir Francis Bacon is dead, but Line has kept the porky part and beefed it up to stand up to park abuse far better than any of its predecessors. The new Line Bacon 108s now have virtually identical construction to the Chronic and are all the better for it. These are wide, super surfy, super playful option for those for whom skiing is all about fun.
"The new Bacon 108 is heavier, but that weight is aimed at durability improvements rather than performance changes. The fundamental character of the Bacon 108 is the same as its predecessor. It’s still super loose and playful, and it still isn’t much good in mixed conditions. It’s perhaps even more at home in the park than it used to be and it still cranks turns better than it possibly should. It butters with nary more than a twitch of the ankles and it's still one of my favorites." - @Twig
"Really fun profile, shorter turn radius on a wider ski makes for fun switch carves. Nice and buttery." - Jordan
