"Ok, cards on the table, I'm not a big pole guy. However, as poles go, these are the best, in my experience at least. I've had a pair for two seasons and just finally gotten a new pair (and I'm still using the old ones in the park). I've had plenty of issues with carbon adjustables in the past, all of which I've rapidly snapped, but these seem to hold up remarkably well. They're light, they have comfortable grips and the adjustment mechanism seems sturdier than most too. They have an extended grip for touring, if that's your poison, and safety release straps, if you're wild enough to use straps in the first place. I don't... but I do like these poles a lot." - @Twig
