Rossignol Corbet's Jacket & Relax Bib Pants 2025 Review

Rossignol's outerwear is more familiar to those who frequent the slopes of the Alps than the Rockies but they’ve been doing this for a while. As we discovered at the test, @Twig 's first ski jacket was Rossignol, so a while really is a WHILE. The Corbet's Jacket and Relax Bib Pants come from the middle of the range and offer all you would expect in terms of features in an almost softshell feeling kit.

There’s a zippered chest pocket for electronics, two hand pockets, and a pass pocket which, in an interesting twist, is accessible from the interior. There’s a permanent powder skirt, adjustable hood & hem, and some bomber, chunky wrist gaiters. And despite the softshell feel of the fabric, which makes it very easy to move in (no crinkle factor), it’s properly waterproof too at 20k. We would argue this jacket serves those who get cold more easily than those who are often too warm. It’s insulated and the vents are quite small so you can’t easily cool off on the move.

The same is true of the bib pants, which are also insulated and will keep you toasty no matter how low the mercury drops. There’s a fleece lining in strategic spots too, so really these are a cold weather pant. There are thigh vents but they are quite small and mesh-lined, so they aren’t going to cool you off that much. The zips and buckles are chunky but feel bombproof, though we did feel the kick panels could be a bit bigger. The bibs also lack hip pockets, which gives them a clean look, but does reduce the storage options. The cargo pockets are also on the smaller side. If you carry a lot in your pockets, bear this in mind.

Who’s it for?
Skiers who ski cold places, and/or regularly find themselves getting cold on the hill. This was the warmest kit we tried at the test, and yet it was still very easy to move in.

Fit guide:
Both Jacket & Bibs are snug fitting. We’d recommend you go true-to-size for a moderately slim fit. Sizing up would give a more relaxed fit, but the way they are cut, they are never going to be baggy.

Sunshine or storm day. High-speed carves or hidden powder stashes. This kit is designed for those who like to explore the entire mountain in all conditions. Insulated for warmth and fully waterproof and breathable.
