For more than 90 years, the TYROLIA brand has been well known for innovations in ski binding development. The TYROLIA company, located in Schwechat, Austria, and founded in 1847 as “Wiener Metallwaren-, Schnallen- und Maschinenfabrik GmbH”, manufactured its first ski binding in 1928. Ten years later, industrial production started and in 1949 the first TYROLIA-branded ski binding was produced. Today, TYROLIA belongs to the HEAD Sport GmbH. With a market share of 30 percent, TYROLIA is the market leader in the alpine winter sports product sector.

For the 2021/22 winter season, they have revised their famous Attack binding and made it even better, more reliable, and easier to adjust. Besides the new toe design, they have optimized the already first-class stability and weight of the binding. Additionally, they have improved the AFD and redesigned the heel, which can now be adjusted in an open position.
