https://youtu.be/MU_HKgq-i5oThe Head Oblivion 102 is definitely the most user-friendly ski in the Oblivion lineup. The flex is the most moderate and the mid-waist width is good for a variety of conditions. It still has a longer sidecut than most skis in its class, which makes it far more stable when straightlining but a little less quick than some when you get them on edge. They are still a solid ski, good for going fast but with just a little playfulness thrown into the package.
"These skis felt great on groomers, in fact, they have a little of a race ski feel to them. They charge, but you can still cut them loose with a little encouragement." - Lisa Cormier
"I was a bit surprised to enjoy these, given they are much stiffer and straighter than anything I normally ride but they were great fun for just pointing and going. For me, these would make a great 'day after the storm' ripper that you can still throw tricks on." - @Twig

The Oblivion 102 suits everyday skiers who aspire to ski like HEAD's premier freeski athletes. With a softer feel in the tip and tail, plus a tighter turn radius, the new Oblivion is stable at speed and playful in powder. The core construction blends poplar and Recycled-PET for a dynamic feel. The twin tip shape accommodates switch landings, while the 102 mm waist allows the ski to float or carve, depending on how creative you want to approach the mountain.
