The Salomon QST 106 was, despite some tweaks here and there to make it more playful, one of the most inherently 'chargy' skis we had out in Sunshine Village. Our testers loved its abilities in mixed conditions and they do a very solid job in deep snow too. Slightly more forgiving than the wider QST Blank, the QST is hard to beat as a daily driver for more directional skiers.
"So stable! Great ski for the pow, so surfy and very easy to maneuver around the trees. The party trick is they are so solid in the landings." @emluuxas
"This ski charges on groomers and holds an edge well. They float super nicely when called upon too. Not the most playful but that's not what you buy these. If you're a directional skier, these are one of the best resort drivers out there" - @Twig
"These skis are some personal favorites of mine because they can make anything fun. They have this great bounce and nimble quality that allows you to dart all over the mountainside whether you like to attack the classic moguls or just go crazy in the trees." - Asa France

Profile: Tip & Tail Rocker
The Salomon QST 106 ski is designed to do it all with style and finesse regardless of the snow conditions or terrain. The QST 106’s new, more agile design is slightly more tapered, with the widest points of the tip and tail closer to the centre, allowing for quick pivoting and playful turn shapes. At 106 mm underfoot it excels when the snow gets deep and the longer rocker in the tip and tail make navigating those “annoying” face shots a breeze. Finally, a C/FX carbon backbone and double sidewalls make the 106 a powerful ski with strong edge hold, while cork inserts in the tip and tail eliminate chatter to deliver a smooth, playful ride.
