The Volkl Revolt 114 ski is a monster. Our testers loved its power and charging abilities while still being light enough to throw some tricks on. These are more of a freeride ski with a little freestyle ability though, with fast and straight being primary among their abilities.
It didn't matter if it was crud or tracked out pow, I found myself blasting through all kinds of conditions with ease. They float well and they have plenty of backbone. They are a lot less forgiving when it comes to quick turns than the other Revolt skis but they are an absolute weapon for opening up at high speeds and pointing where you need to go. They definitely fall more in the freeride / big mountain category than the 104/121, and I was surprised by how burly they felt, but they absolutely rip. - @P3t3r
"Held an edge well for a ski that big, definitely feels like it would float nicely in a bit of snow. It was a really playful ski which surprised me for how big it is." - @bigbilliam

With the Revolt 114, Völkl expands the popular product line with a completely new model: it closes the gap between the Revolt 104 and the Revolt 121 and boasts a new, modern freeride shape. The tail, without a twin tip is flat and the nose of the ski is noticeably shorter. This makes the new Revolt particularly suitable for big mountain skiers who are aiming for a high energy, technically sophisticated style of skiing with big, fast turns in open terrain, but still want a certain amount of playfulness. Alongside lead engineer Lucas Romain and product and team manager Jean-Claude Pedrolini, numerous renowned athletes from all over the world were involved in the development of the new model: Ian McIntosh (CAN), Ross Tester (USA), Markus Eder (ITA), Stian Hagen (NOR), Lucas Swjekowski (ARG), Paddy Graham (UK), Kye Petersen (CAN), Tom Ritsch (AUT), Sam Smoothy (NZ) and Lucas Romain (FRA) – all of whom play in the top leagues of freestyle and freeride skiing.
For this model, artist Benjamin Güdel designed the ‘Reach the Stars’ graphic. He wanted to reflect that the Revolt 114 is the ski for highly ambitious athletes who want to make it to the top of the freeride elite or have already reached the top.
