I spent a week at the Newschoolers ski test walking (and skiing) around saying "socks good" to everyone I could persuade to listen. These were my first pair of Dissents but certainly won't be my last. They've become my go-to socks for all days, except for the occasional absolutely Baltic day, on which I'll reach for the thicker GFX padded. The merino wool means they don't stink too bad even after a few days of wear, which is clutch because I only have the one pair. The compression doesn't seem to ever loosen or stretch out, which is a first for me, and means they keep on being supportive even if you're a bit lax with the "washing them" thing. They really do seem to help me ski harder for longer, and recover better for the next day. Which is above and beyond for a sock, all things considered. - @Twig
Harnessing decades of construction knowledge, IQ Fit is collaborative innovation among our teams that elevates comfort to new levels in a high performance merino sock. Additional warmth, ease of use, and critical diversity for your sock quiver beyond your GFX socks.
"The socks do everything well - namely staying in place during the day with a proper amount of compression. The added advantage to this model is they are warmer than some of the original, thinner models. I use them so often (every day I put on ski boots!) I had to get two or three pairs." - Jon Miller
"Having tried many different ski socks over the years and not hitting the jackpot, i eventually slid my feet in Dissent socks, and, man, I finally hit that jackpot! Comfortable, no blisters, great heat regulation, right amount of compression. As the title says, best in the game." - Julien Millan
