The 2022 Line Blade, a carving ski. A review of Line's aggressive carving ski, plus weight and full specs.
The 2022 Line Blade is probably the most surprising ski of the year. Its unique shape and construction add up to a product that is something totally knew for Line, and that sparked a lot of interest at the OR Snow Show in January 2020. As a Newschoolers member put it, it exists "because those who were the most loyal to Line at their inception are now 30+ and we want some god damn dad skis from the brands we love!" - @Skibumsmith . And "everybody loves the turn. And these skis turn." - @pbs .
The Blade is positioned as a "metal laminate freeride ski". The wide shovel floats in fresh snow and the 95mm underfoot gives it versatility for various conditions. After testing, I found this ski to be most fun for carving on groomers, bringing back memories from my racing years. - @Dr.Zorko
