Nordica redefines all-mountain versatility and fun with its completely redesigned women’s Santa Ana collection with new shapes, construction, and sizes to provide more performance, stability, and maneuverability. The biggest change is a layer of lightweight Terrain Specific Metal (TSM), a layer of metal tuned specifically to each ski based on underfoot width and intended ski use. On the wider models, to be more maneuverable and easier to navigate through variable terrain and soft snow, the TSM layer doesn’t extend as far to the edges. On narrower models, the metal extends closes to the edges for more on-trail precision, power, and strength on harder snow. Also, each model now uses Nordica’s True Tip Technology, which reduces the amount of heavy ABS plastic in the tip, and a new carbon-reinforced wood core, both of which make the new Santa Ana’s quieter and easier to turn. Nordica also added more ski length options, taking into account skier height, weight, turn shape, and conditions, for a consistent feel and confident edge hold. The new Santa Ana collection makes skiing that much more fun, whether pursuing powder, laying down turns on groomers, blasting through crud, or rallying all over the mountain.
