Newschooler's Review: The La Nieve is my go-to touring ski. The shape combined with tech bindings made my initial impressions of the ski a little reserved, but after skiing them for over a season I couldn't be happier. I'm on the 180 length and they've been my companion on many of the lines I'm proud of in the Tetons. From drops, to hard hop-turns in couloirs, and wide-open powder, these do everything with ease. At just over 6 pounds, they're not the lightest skis you'll find, but they're a great combination of a lighter ski without completely sacrificing performance. I couldn't be happier to have these on my feet in the backcountry. -Erica
Manufacturer's Description:Coming in at just over 6 pounds, the La Nieve is our backcountry-specific ski that will bring a you-know-what-eating grin to your face no matter the conditions. The La Nieve features an early rise tip and slight tail rocker with a bit of camber underfoot. A basswood and ash laminate core serves up a solid flex that is still poppy and playful. This ski will serve it up on a silver platter as you float in the pow, take strong side steps, and tackle the variable terrain of the backcountry.
