When I first opened the package I was blown away by how much material is involved in this snow pant. Not gonna lie it takes up a lot of room even rolled up and compressed but holy shit they kept me warm. They held up just fine in -25 celcius days sitting on a frozen chair. I’d image these would be great on really cold sled trips as well. However if you do own a pair of these you might want to have a second pair for spring skiing. If you primarily ride on the east coast or places that stay cold AF all year round these pants will certainly do the trick. If you live in the coastal ranges I would recommend getting the shell version or better yet have two pairs. Not only do you benefit from having gear for different scenarios but both pieces will last longer because you won’t be using them as much.
I did like that you can take the bib component off of the pants if you wanted. The bib component sealing is actually really well made and although removable does not allow any cold or snow to get in.
All in all this is the warmest ski pant I have ever tried. I like the fit, not too baggy , not too skinny. If you plan on travelling i’d recommend using a stuff sac or something because she is buurley. Very well made just like all the other 3L insulated pieces.
The warmest / biggest snow pants out there
