Volkl consolidated their freestyle skis into two lines this season - the Revolts and the Bash. New to the Revolt series is the Revolt 86, a skinnier version of the 95 with the same mellow tip/tail rocker and full/extended sidecut. The Bash series this year is essentially just a renamed and revamped version of the Transfer Series. The Bash 86 and 86W are new additions as playful, rockered park skis that are designed to rip the entire mountain.
Ahmet slaying all over the mountain on his Revolts
The Revolt Series:
Volkl's Revolt series comes in a 124, 95, 87, and 86. Used by Ahmet Dadali, ABM, and Nick Goepper, the Revolts go beyond just the park. Made in a variety of waist sizes, the 124 was made to adapt to deeper conditions, while keeping the same feel of the popular all mountain 95- a ski that performs both in the park and across the mountain. The 87 is the go-to of athletes who spend a majority of their time in the pipe and park, as the skis utilize a more aggressive camber profile, and aren't as playful as their wider counterparts. Lastly, new for 2019, the 86 is a directional twin tip with both tip and tail rocker and was made to be a playful and bomber park ski, without sacrificing the ability to rip the whole mountain. The Revolt 86 complements the Bash 86, sharing the same shape and construction.

Newschoolers' Review
The Bash is a directional ski. The flex felt similar to the Step but the tail felt slightly stiffer. I like a directional ski and I found I could handle the softer flex better on the Revolt 85. They were easier to carve too and would actually make a pretty good …
Member Review:
The flex of the ski is great. The tip and tail are softer which allowed for a easier turn initiation while under foot the ski is solid. This meant that when you come out of a big cliff you wouldn't wheelie out or get bucked back seat. When I say the tip and tail are softer I mean they are soft for…

Newschoolers' Review:
One of the best skiing park skis I have ever been on. Cuts turns like crazy, amazing edge grip, a ton of power in the tips and tails. I took my first pipe run of the year on the fresh cut at Copper and I felt like I could have boosted sky high. The Revolt 87 (same as the Wall) also skis swi…
Newschoolers' Quick Review:
The Revolt actually has more all-mountain potential to me than it does performance as an out and out park ski. I really enjoyed them for ripping around the mountain on and for a jibby ski, they hold an edge pretty nicely and track a nice long turn shape. I also enjoyed them on bot…
