Newschoolers' Review:
The Bacon has a medium / stiff flex that is pretty consistent throughout. It skied very well on the hardback and the variable spring crud as well. Not as jibby as older versions of this ski, (unchanged this year) this would be the ski I would ride everyday when I’m too old to be fooling around in the park. - Travis
For me, the Bacon is one of the most fun skis on the market and the new shape has been vastly improved as a result of abandoning the Balsa/Flax core in favour of a more traditional partly cloudy core. The ski now feels smoother and more predictable while retaining a playful feel. Like Travis, I probably wouldn't pick them as a park ski, but only because of durability worries (narrow edges) but for me they are super easy to ski and tons of fun all over the hill. - Twig
