In Episode 7 of their Wyoming Triumph series, the KGB crew goes in search of new terrain and after a day of scouting and are rewarded with an amazing pillow zone and all time epic snow conditions. Powder skiing doesn't get any better than this. Pronounced "Grov Vonte", The Gros Ventre Range's meaning is "big belly", and KGB Productions got just that with a belly full of powder.
And now that winter is upon us, early season snowfall can mean unstable snowpack, so remember that avalanches can and will happen. Education is the key to prevention and survival, so be sure educate yourself and be safe before heading out into the backcountry.
