1997 Snowboarders had been doing urban forever, but skiers didn't. I arranged for Jeff Winterton to meet me one night in Downtown Albany on a rail I was scoping. It was my first time on a rail outside the park. It became the first published pic of a skier on a rail, in Freeze Magazine 1997.
