Yeah a decent binding. Mixes one of my favorite toe piece designs (marker) with that tyrolia heel. It's a good knock around binding. Haven't had any problems with it. Do you have more specific questions?
I've used the 13's. They are a good binding, seemed like a blend between the Griffon and the STH12. Lighter then the STH, but beefier then the Markers. Didn't really like the forward pressure adjustment on it, but that's minor.
I started to ski the 16 this year they are dope....the toe piece is the widest in the industry so it drives the ski awesome...the ramp angle is adjustable and it sits so low on the ski....the heel piece is solid....I would recommend them for sure
I mounted them on my 178 Liberty LTE's a few weeks ago and have to say that they feel Uber solid. I've only used rental bindings and some squires before these and I'm glad I got the attack 16's. Plus I got em for a cool $130
Just bought 2 pairs of each for my skis this year. They are banger as fuck.
The toe wings don't get all loosy like the markers and salomons, the elasticity is phenominal, the low profile is great, the swingweight is minimal, the construction is simple and easy, and most importantly, they are safe as hell.
Sean doesnt know what the hell he is talking about.
But in all seriousness, the binding is baller as shit. I'm running 2 pairs of the 16s as well, skied a fair amount on them last season. Seans review is right on. but he is still a clown.
I have heard of two problems. I have heard that the afd breaking on the first production run which tyrolia has been made aware of and they did fix the problem. If you do break a afd tyrolia will hook you up.
Another problem I have heard of was when you put the binding in tour mode and start skiing in snow the bottom of the binding where there is that honeycomb plastic will fill snow making it difficult to put back into alpine mode. You can probably mod it with a thin piece of metal if it annoys you that much or don't be a bitch and clean it out yourself.
