TOKINA 11-16 f2.8 Canon mount & Tamron 17-50 F2.8 (buy them)

First things first, I am fully legit, check my feedback. Been a member far too long.

Canon mount Tokina 11-16 f2.8. Lens bought off Adorama maybe a year ago, perfect condition, glass is flawless. Box and sun hood included, lost the lens cap but it's had a UV filter on it since day 1. $550+ship OBO. Paypal gifted or add 4% PP fees.

Tiffen 0.9 ND Filter can be included for $30 more. No issues.

I will only trade for money or possibly other camera gear (but don't get your hopes up).

Secondly, Tamron 17-50 f2.8 Canon mount. Lens also flawless with no issues. Always had a UV on. $280+ship OBO. Paypal gifted or add 4% PP fees.

Again, 0.9 Tiffen ND is brand new, add $20 for it.

sorry I cant buy, but I have a question why isn't the 11-16 a prime? it doesn't seem like 5mm could make much of a perspective difference? so what does that 5mm do?

thanks dude. the 5mm difference is actually quite noticeable for followcams and other shots (it can be hard to get close enough at 11mm without getting destroyed), but the lens is much more like a prime than a zoom for sure.

You would probably have better luck if you lowered the price. On B&H new for 570.

Ive been wanting this lense so bad just dont have the dough yet.

just because the zoom isn't a big change doen't make it not a zoom. It's not a prime because it's not a prime, it's a zoom lens

Yeah the focal length scale is exponential, not linear. 1mm difference from 11mm to 12mm has a much larger difference than say 100mm to 101mm.

so. the tamron has a bit of play in the zoom, but the optics are flawless, so I'm selling it for 250 shipped

Tokina is perfect in all aspects...will take 500 shipped with ND filter
