A lot of sketchy shit happened at my old apartment complex. A girl I know woke up around 6 am one morning to some guy watching her sleep while jerking off and holding a knife to her throat. There was also lots of car break ins and stuff. I'm so glad I don't live there anymore. Salt Lake can be a little bit sketchy at times.

I live in a loft 'studio' apartment and my neighbours include a lesbian couple who like to fight and scream at 3am. And then theres the nice old chinese man who cooks me stir frys sometimes =).

So yeah shits pretty ghetto. Y'all wont wanna come round hur 'less u tryna get fuked up nugga.

nahh still livin at home savin up to buy a great place wit my boo. i know she is the one for me cause we have been dating for 5 years and are deeplyin love. we have only  kissed 5 times too which all my friends make fun of me but i dont care casue im in love and im not 'fucking' every 'hoe' out there. girls arent hoes and having sex is gross unless it truely means something. like bringing in a new born son/daughter into this world and loving and caring for him/her . i hate when kids have sex just for the sake of having sex. uhmmm they need a damn reality check asappp

This kind of shit happened to a bunch of my buddy's friends in Buffalo, NY. Apparently there was some guy who would find out which houses girls lived in, break into their houses at night, and just watch them sleep and/or lie down next to them in bed. So insanely creepy.

the past week ive borrowed a 2014 Toyota since the lancer is getting tuned up

I keep hearing through the paper thin walls my whole building talking shit so hard because

they think I do not work just sit home and smoke marijuana all day.

my balcony faces a parking lot. In the summer the leaves block it, but you can see it in the winter. Also there is a chinese restaurant, a dollar store and a McDonalds within two blocks of me. A bit sketch to have those things in your area.

My apartment is not really ghetto, it's like 7 years old and has all real wood furniture and leather couches and stuff. Some of the appliances are a bit ghetto, also our countertops are not made out of granite for some reason, and the kitchen floors have cheap tiles.

They had to put locks on all the laundry rooms in my building because they kept finding junkies passed out in them at night. on one side of me is a gay methhead who constantly blares techno till about 3am and is really noisy when he bangs, on the other side are 6 hippies crammed into a two bedroom who smoke so many cigarettes inside that the smell has made its way through the wall.

When I was looking for places I could really afford,I looked at some condos that sold for 40 grand, and some apartments that had crack heads and busted locks on the front doors.

I then said fuck that and got an apartment I couldn't afford. Now I park my beat up Blazer between GLK's and A5's.

The first place I lived in when I moved to Alberta was referred to as 'the crack house' by people at the office (social services). I gave my months notice the day I moved in. It was a house converted into 5 individual units. It smelled disgusting (mold, cigarettes and dispair), had cigarette burns all over the ceiling, I found a burned spoon and one of my electrical outlets exploded.

my building smells like tobacco mold and marijuana too

they wont turn the foyer lights on until 6pm to 6am and im so sketched when im using my iPhone flashlight to walk in

the building had a lock but my neighbors ripped it out so they don't have to buy keys

I don't feel like college towns count that much. The apartments are run down because kids break shit and people will rent them regardless. You're surrounded by thousands of people in the same boat. Not that bad. Plus you're probably drinking heavily because you're in college, not because your life is in shambles and the shelter you call home/ pay hundreds a month for would probably improve if an earthquake or hurricane hit it.

I live on the east side of Syracuse...... cuse is not a college town its a post-manufacturing era city similar to Detroit.. carrier and several other factories left and now there is nothing besides SU on the hill and Lemoyne in the salt springs neighborhood

Abort is from the Adirondacks where the only thing you have to worry about is mountainmen

haha. you probably live in the suburbs and mom and dad drive SUV's etc, etc.

This is city life i'm talking about man. Dollar stores and McDonalds attract some sketchy motherfuckers. Actually I think there is a also salvation army thrift shop in the same complex.

I have to walk past poors like every day to get from my house to school or the legit coffee shops, bars and food places. Once in awhile we even get homeless people in the area picking up bottles.

My igloo's in a pretty rough part of the forest. There's this beaver who I have to give a pounding to every night to keep her in line, and sometimes you see people with antler marks on their thighs from all the Moosehead they've been into. Other than that, its not so bad.

I don't live in that ghetto of a place compared to some inner city projects type deals... but i've got a bum living in my apartment complex laundry room and he offered to sell me oxy and smoke me out. I also think I saw a meth pipe. all my neighbors have offered to be my new drug dealer too, haha. there are bums that come and dig through the dumpster everyday for aluminum can crv

Lived in Dillon Valley for a winter. And although it is not a "ghetto" area at all really, there was an especially shady batch of people living in the complex that I was living in at the time. Meth is a helluva drug.
