I guess since the lineup is out, what are people gonna be buying? Talk anything ON3P in here. Tech talk, Sizing issues, etc. Ill start it off. Im eyeing the Tychoon and Prester.

Thanks man. That actually helped a lot. Any other ON3P skis you would recommend that may be a little wider but just as durable? This thread has been pretty helpful, but I haven't heard too many people beating on other a little fatter skis from ON3P like the Jeronimo or Jeffrey or are they more just all mountain skis? Thanks

JMo or Jeffery, I'd recommend for all mountain. Then maybe look at the Caylor for pow/pow jibbing if you want to go down that route.

I'm helping a girl find a pair of skis, something all around-powder oriented, and i was thinking the 171 jeffreys could be a good match? she's a decent skier, can get down anything, maybe 5'7ish. she's not a super strong, dig in and flex the skis kinda skier. more just put the skis on edge and finesse i guess. but she wants to get more into backcountry skiing and become a stronger skier. think that'd be a good fit?

I ski the JMO as my park ski, before that the jeffrey was my park ski for 2 year. I beat the shit out of it, then got a base grind and now it's my touring ski.

I love the JMO, definitely one of my top 3 favorites.

uhh still debating on whether or not to pull the trigger on some filthies

love my JMO's from last year for all mountain but idk if i can justify spending 600$ for a park ski to go beat them up on rails

but i want to soo bad, decisions decisions....

Spent 2 days on the Vicik so far this season, its a great ski. Its very stable at speed, and amazing on groomers. Nice and damp, but not too stiff. Has a hint of pop/play in it from the bamboo. Perfect Do it all flex and weight, amazing (not just good) everywhere except big moguls. Havent gotten them into pow, but im sure theyll float fine, just not my cup of tea in anything fresh. I use it as an all mountain ski for jackson hole, along with my Moment PBJ, in which the vicik is better everywhere except moguls and i suspect the park. Bases are bomber, topsheets bomber.

I just want to say- super glad I decided to go with Jmos this year. I managed to snag the last pair of 176s from last year. I was a bit concerned on the length considering I'm 5'9 175, but after two days on them I'm pretty damn excited. They're just such a fun ski to be on. Throwing them around in any soft snow is just pure bliss. I'm also impressed by their handling on ice and groomed stuff- they actually get on edge pretty well. In the trees I feel the length is perfect- very nimble and they allow me to pop around things with ease. The energy the bamboo cores gives back is reaaaaal nice.

I don't hit many rails but jumping on these is awesome as well- can also get some good pop back out of the skis here.

I still haven't been able to get them in any real powder, but hopefully soon. Coupled with some Marker Schizo bindings (I really do think they allow a ski to be truely "all-Mountain") they've done fantastic all over the mountain here in Colorado. Definitely sold with ON3P so far. Already eyeing the Caylor or Billy Goats, but we'll see haha.

I really wanted to get a pair of filthies with this year's cease and desist graphic... shit would have looked so cool. I couldn't resist the shop discount I got on the ones we had in store though, so I had to go for the stock graphic (which is still sick btw). The 2010 and 2011 caylor graphics would also look fucking nasty on a pair of filthies. Honestly, there are so many sick on3p graphics, it would be almost impossible to choose. Think of the sensuality of pillowfight filthies.... I shudder at the thought.

In a nutshell, the manufacturer who makes our topsheet nylon (basically the only nylon topsheet mfg in the world) fucked up and sent our topsheet printers a huge amount of bad material. Our topsheet printer sent out a ton of new topsheets to us and after pressing about a weeks worth of skis with them, the first pairs make it to QC where we check all the layers of the ski with a razor blade. Low and behold, we were able to just slip the razor in and peal the topsheet right off the skis (sometimes by hand). Of course everything came to a halt, caused us to basically have to scrap close to $10k in skis, and meant that all the topsheet material we had received from 10/1 forward was all bad. This has affected a few other ski manufacturers around the world, too, so not just us.

This was about one month ago. We just received the first batch of tops with replacement material last Thursday, so it took awhile for them to work up a new batch of good material, ship it to the US, clear customs, and for our top printers to be able to work their asses off to get new material to us.

So, we had this huge period where we had all these skis to build but not much material to do it. Rather than sit on our hands doing nothing, we offered all our direct customers the chance to swap their topsheet if they had a preferred topsheet that was good and that we had on hand. Some decided to swap their tops, allowing us to build their skis within the past month. Others wanted to wait for the stock tops, which are just now finally showing up and what we are working on at this moment.

Let me just say, its been a really long month. Never seen delam issues like this before, nor has the manufacturer, but from our bonding tests done in house, it appears they either forgot to or incorrectly flame treated several rolls of material, basically resulting in 1000's of meters in wasted material, plus a boatload of materials and time on both our end and our topsheet printer's end. Super, super frustrating month (coupled with a month+ of production issues with our new presses back in mid Sept-Oct), but back up and cruising now and we are shipping out 10+ pairs per day, so catching up on everything as quickly as we can. Thanks for the patience everyone.

I ordered early and was getting super-angsty with the wait, but ON3P has stepped up. Between the custom topsheet offer and the transparency about the supplier issue, I will buy again with confidence.

I can't wait to start seeing more of the veneers for this year.

It was an awesome surprise to open my veneer Vicik's last winter, having no idea what the skis looked like. I'm definitely looking forward to getting my veneers this year too.

speaking on veneer, Sam has been super helpful with me. mine should ship in a couple days. i'm leaving for breckenridge christmas day and still need to get them mounted. i've got it worked out so my shop will be able to mount them quickly, and they're open on christmas eve. i'm getting a little worried, but i have no doubt the ON3P guys will have me hooked up with my filthy's for my breck trip

seriously, they've gone out of their way to make sure i'll get my skis on time. on3p is such a great company!

Its so cold at the factory they are taking forever to finish. Usually takes around 12 hours per coat - now it is taking 24+ per coat. We are working on 5-6 pairs right now that are all finished and ready to go besides the epoxy seal of the top, so they should be out soon.

Yo guys, need a little help with sizing. My K2 recoils are currently 179s... I love them that length and I enjoy jumps more then rails so that's kind of what I'm doing but I have got way more into rails this year... I'm deciding between the FR and JMO's right now. I'm 5'11 and about 165 ibs. Don't know whether I should just go with the 181 or the 176? I don't think I will have any problems controlling the 181 but any help would be appreciated!

Just got my 181 Jeffrey's with this years Caylor topsheets (I was one of the ones with the delam issue mentioned above). Hopefully dropping them off to get mounted today! I'm thinking Salomon guardians for sidecountry/short tours, even though that will be one heavy set up, I'm not sure I'll be able to resist dragging these bad boys into the BC a little bit. SO STOKED.

Tried calling ON3P today but nobody picked up.. Anybody know how fast there shipping is? I wanna order skis tomorrow but if it takes too long I may just go with some Armada Halo 2's because they can be here within a week. If nobody knows, I'm going to try calling again tomorrow to try and find out. Thanks
