Well, the fall is here and in preparation for building the monstrosity that is Winter Hard On Park, we re-purposed the 12'x12' deck off of a raised platform that OP had as a bike drop in for one of his dirt jump lines. We placed it at the top of what will be our winter jump line to fill an awkward area of space. Now it's will act as a mini lipped drop to butter/spin/flip off of; it will probably also have a cannon rail on top, and there will be a jump over the added on portion on the right. We also cleared a spot uphill so we can roll into this thing more squarely, and we cleaned up and levelled the landing. It took a lot of digging, clearing leaves, lifting, chainsawing, hand sawing, and yes, screwing, but here is the final result:
The jibs with the new deck in the background. The cleared out roll in is in the foreground, and there's a nice transition with the ground below it. Before it was just straight ledge to the ground.
The deck in it's entirety (and OP)
Looking down the landing and the jump line.
The landing, it was like a little ditch with a bunch of brush and leaves before. Now it's nice, wide, and flat.
**Steeze*Whiz** doin a test hit. Easily one of the worst pictures I've ever taken.
