No clue what my first regular pair was, maybe some super old Rossignols from the 90s. I remember my first twin tips though, K2 Fujatives:

I remember my mom going to the store saying she was going to get me some twin tips. Comes back with head monsters, flat tail with probably 1 cm of quick rise at the tail... but I didn't even know the difference. Those beasts held me through my first 3, 5, 7 and backflip. Sooo heavy....

A pair of kids cross country skis with a ghetto binding where you basically tie shoes onto the skis, dad got me those when I was 5.  I have finally been freed from the doom of rental twins and got myself a pair of Head JO Pros from last year:

08/09 Line Anthems, Those things were heavy as hell, not to mention that I threw a set of demo bindings which added to the weight. Almost killed myself riding all mountain with them de-tuned for park.

first pair when I was 2: no idea. But my first twins were the 2010 JO pros, hated them, the top sheet took no abuse they chipped horribly and after 1 season of riding the edge popped out

everybodies saying they were too you to remember, but i didnt ski til i was 11 and i got my first pair of skis at like 15. they were k2 apache sabres from 2008, which was basically the shittiest not junior ski they had in that line. i loved them for about 2 seasons, still have them.

first pair of twin tips was k2 press from 2011, and i have recently gotten surface double times from 2011. only on my 3rd pair of skis rite now
