These things are pretty amazing all around. They isolate sound wonderfully. I use one at work and it's stunning how much better our audio sounds with this on the mic.

If you want a shotgun mic, get the rode video mic. You can find them under 100 bucks used if you look hard enough

I'm not sure if you're deliberately ignoring my messages, but it's saying you haven't read them, and I know you've been online, It's been over 60 days since you said you shipped the first one out, you then said you shipped another one out 3 weeks ago, I asked what shipping address you sent it to, and you haven't responded since.

OP have you considered making something for use with external recorders? I have a Tascam DR-40 and it'd be great if you could find a way to put something like this together

and lettermail, is just that, meant for letters.

But I send through it anyways as it is super cheap, and 9/10 it works.

^my dead cat didn't even work, it was like putting an XL condom on XS penis. Even when I did get it on by safety pinning it, it still didn't block out sound.

Not trying to sound like a dick, but what is there to use? If he put it over his mic, and it didnt work, then its not his fault. Its not rocket science. Theres no specific way to "use it".
