Do you like skiing?
How about skiing powder?
When you ski powder, would you like to feel like GOD?
Then you have visited the correct "For Sale" posting!
I am selling a pair of 2010 Line EP Pros, the radtastic powder skis that Erik Pollard invented! If you want to be a Champion among Men, capable of buttering and having undeniable, unmatched sex appeal while skiing powder, then you need these skis!
Details:
First of all, I am selling these skis FLAT. That means you get the skis only, and not the bindings.
I purchased these skis from Porters Tahoe (pretty much the most amazing and reputable of ski shops I have ever set foot in) at the end of the 2009-2010 ski season. They were a pair of demos, but the season was notoriously dry and I was told they were only actually skied on for 4 or 5 days. I believe Porters because they're a trustworthy establishment, they would have gained or lost nothing by not telling me (I was going to buy them anyway) and on top of that, the skis had zero base or edge damage, and cosmetic damage that looked like they might have had one or two runs on them, let alone a few days.
I skied on them for one season (2010-2011) on powder days only, and they are the best powder skis I have ever used. I am only selling them because I need a more versatile ski that I can use for touring, as well... I will miss them dearly.
Damage:
Bases and Edges:The bases have some streaks on them. some of them have been filled, some have not. They do not have any noticeable effect on the performance of the skis. These skis have had ONE core shot, which was filled the day I got it. The edges are in 9.5/10 condition, with no cracks, dents, etc. They are a little bit rough in some spots, but the small burrs would be removed with a single edge sharpening.
Topsheets:The skis' topsheets are in good (8/10) condition, but they are not perfect. They have the standard burrs and chips along the edges that any ski gets with a season of use. They do not, however, affect the performance or durability of the ski. All topsheet damage is purely cosmetic.
Holes/Prior mounts:
Originally, the skis were mounted with Marker Griffon demo bindings. I remounted them with Jesters, using the same front holes and drilling new rear holes. That's right, the toe has been drilled once for a Marker Jester/Griffon pattern, and the heel has been drilled twice for a Marker Jester/Griffon pattern. The only difference between the demo pattern and the non-demo pattern is one extra hole for the demo pattern.
The demo binding was mounted on the line, the Jester was mounted so that the toepiece lined up with the old holes. The Jester was mounted for a 325mm bsl, so if that is the boot sole length of your skis, you'll be able to reuse the holes. The Jesters ended up being mounted less than 10mm back of the line.
Price:
I would like $350 for the skis. I will accept PayPal Gift, regular PayPal, or (obviously for locals) cash, but if you choose regular PayPal, the price goes up 3% to pay for PayPal fees.
Buyer pays shipping, but I would prefer a local sale. I am located at UBC in Vancouver.
