GORUCK challenge

anybody heard of/done it?





Ok so heres what the race is:

they tell you the WEEK OF the race the following:
distance-15 20 miles
time: 8-10 hours
you may have too carry furniture or other items with you

we already know:
Its a military elite training program
you must carry around 25 pounds the entire time
its overnight (starts at 9pm)
Its really fucking hard.





Seriously, in the FAQ one of the questions is "Do you have to be in the military to compete?". Its also required that you have to fill out a death waiver to compete. I'm nervous as hell.

10 hours of it. and the carrying of tree's, pushups in mud, crawling for a mile. other things of that sort.

I play to do a tough mudder in the spring.

im stoked. mines a 5 KM sprint of crawling in mud, climbing stuff, running through creeks ect..

umm the tough mudder is ten miles, not a 5k. I plan on doing it when i'm 18.


but i did a 5k mudrun a few months ago and it was fucking legit, have fun at yours.

heard of it and almost signed up for one this year but it would have been too expensive for the flight and fee's. me and a couple guys from my crossfit box were gonna do it. it looks fun as hell...if you like a challenge

welp, now i'm doing both.

the only way I could do the GORUCK is if I went as a "Photographer", which basically means I do the same shit but instead of carrying bricks in a bag I'll be carrying my camera equipment.

ever consider that nobody else really cares but you just get excited to be around a bunch of ripped guys for 10 hours...?

I mean no hate, if I could go participate in an event with 20 bikini clad bimbos that involved a lot of physical contact I would for sure do it.
