its not just that it was shaky its that the filming was not good. most of the time you where way to close/zoomed in and didnt get the subject in the shot. The skiing was super awesome and you guys killed it really hard but that filming didnt justify the skiing in that edit. There where some good shots like the stationary ones but the the follow cams just simply werent good.
Overall i really liked the edit because the skiing was sick and it looked like you guys had fun. I would suggest not just getting a glidecam right away but work on framing your shots better and getting the entire trick in the image. a wide angle could be useful for you.
+k to both of you, it was all filmed with a t2i and a 50mm. the framing thing is true, but with only a 50mm its kinda hard to tall what the shots gunna look like while following.
yeah following with a 50 isnt the greatest. i would suggest something around the 17mm range for follows. if you have the kit lens then use that. keep workin on it.
i really liked it, it was put together well i like the parts where ur not in the park but the song killed it for me. That song was terrible, but if u changed that song this would be one of my fav. edits for sure
it was cool, like you said very shaky, in some parts it was zoomed in way to much, in the middle with the kid in the yellow pants, i though it was a little unnecessary to see him take a whole run down to the park, its my oppinion but i dont like it how on every rail you fast forwarded in between (i think a couple of those are cool but not every one) also i couldnt read the font with the captions, and there were a couple of the same tricks in the biggining that got old
Overall the skiing was good, you had some cool shots that i liked and i enjoyed watching it for the most part, so good job only a couple of things to work on
o and the frame thing got a little anoying but idk how ud change that
