Delete This Thread and/or Button

Does anyone else think that we should have a button that allows you to delete your own thread. For example when asking a question in GT and your question is answered right away. Also if you mess up on a post and want to delete it? Who's with me??

we need the fail-safe of ridicule to keep people from incessantly posting stupid shit. If people could say something, see it failing, then delete it themselves, they wouldn't learn anything.

No, I search for old threads all the time for info.  That way I don't have to make another thread with the same issue.

This has been suggested so many times, it would make NS no fun and it gives incentive to actually make a good thread or do spell check or preview, which people still dont do.

plus every kid and their mom loves to yell SEARCHBAR, and if everyone deleted their thread after they got an answer, no one would be able to search for it, resulting even more repeat threads.
